Tubi has a treasure trove of horror movies. Browsing their selection brings back memories of browsing the back of a video store and looking at the covers of movies you didn’t think were real.

Amazon is slowly getting more and more good original shows, The Boys, Good Omens, Invincible, Wheel of Time, Vox Machina, we're gonna get Hazbin Hotel soon, and other Critical Role shows and a possible movie eventually.
I think Amazon is more iconic next toNetflix since 2020 to present day. Since out of the all the streaming services, they are actually giving chances to some shows (like Hazbin Hotel) and not making bad decisions when it comes to its content.
Thought I’d pop in here and say that Amazon just announced they’re placing Amazon-sponsored ads in their Prime Video content, and you (the Prime subscriber) can get rid of the ads for an additional $2.99/month.

Not surprised but glad to know Scott is knowledgable about movies & tv. Almost surreal hearing him discuss something outside of video games but still have such a good taste & frame of reference.
I’m extremely biased towards Hulu for hooking me up with all the major anime when I was a kid. Back when it was just Netflix and Hulu, it felt like Netflix had better movies and Hulu had better TV shows.
They had weird shit too. I think I used it to watch Ranma 1/2 back in like 2010.

Oh boy, I met a guy who worked on Pinocchio, and NO! That was meant for theaters, and second it was brutal to work on. These were people who were working in the industry for over 30 years, and there's an art director who wanted it how he wanted it and slaving everyone over it. It was a disaster before 2018, even then everyone working on it said, "meh, I didn't see Jungle Book remake." and everyone forgot about it after it was release instead to talk about Paulie Shore's Pinocchio instead

Hulu in 2016 would’ve been S Tier, it was so good back in the day.
You had Cartoon Network shows, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, MTV, Comedy Central, Seinfeld.
Now it’s a ghost town, aside from the FXX stuff and Futurama.
I was really excited to see two of my faves collabing, but this vid didn’t do it for me tbh... Scott was great and had some great thoughts to share, but I wish Schaff had more to contribute to the conversation :(

I will never forgive Hulu for originally not having an ad-free tier, for years. Plus it's the buggiest streaming service I've tried.

I just went overseas (Germany) and a lot of the streaming services don’t even exist (Hulu, Max, Paramount+, Peacock), so a lot of movies and programs are automatically registered to Netflix or Disney+. Mostly movies found on Max (like Warner Bros movies) are on Netflix, while all Hulu content are on Disney+.
I remember when listening to videos with your phone turned off was a regular feature of RUclips. Then suddenly they were like, hey, you know that thing you’ve been doing for free this whole time? You’re not allowed to do it anymore, unless you pay for it.

This is definitely one of the collabs of all time.
This is an interesting ranking given everything that has come after it. As mentioned in the description, this was made in October 2022. Generally everything is pretty on point.
BUT I think Peacock in 2023 has finally started figuring out what to do with themselves. Their originals are picking up as I heard Twisted Metal was genuinely a decent show. Plus it has a clear horror movie roots now, especially after they had the FNAF movie premier on the same right as it hit theaters (and the Halloween movies)! I would at least put it in a B now. Better stuff to look at.

Pluto TV is A+ for me because it's the only place I can go to watch all the old Godzilla movies and then switch over to the old episodes of Top Gear, and as an American, that's all I need.

I read the description and found out this video was recorded in late 2022. That fixes my confusion on why they weren’t calling HBOMAX by MAX and other dated things
Tubi is unironically PACKED. There's an entire Transformers back catalog that's hard to find elsewhere (at least until they're put on the official RUclips channel) as well as a few Kamen Rider shows, which is just rare in the west in GENERAL.

you know what I really like about netflix? They limit the resolution of the video to 540p on your browser that's not Edge, and basically force you to use their app where you can't control how much data they can extract out of you.
