Did you treat this patient? Did he have any physical complaints at that moment? Curious to know what you did with this patient. Also very happy to see you uploading more videos recently. Thank you doctor Blake!
Thank you! The patient had knee symptoms which are common in patients that have this high degree of varus alignment coupled with over supination. Yes, I have made him 3 types of foot orthotic devices that he is rotating. They are all designed to eliminate the over supination, but the Inverted pair is also attempting to align his foot and leg better. It is hard to varus position and not supinate (motion), but that is what I am attempting. Fun for me, not sure about the patient! Rich
Hi Dr Blake, I’m an orthotic student from Australia and I am just wondering if you able to do a live video demonstration for positive cast modifications for foot orthotics? There has been no useful resources that I could find to follow along or learn tips and tricks from. Alex
Alex, I will help in some way. Cast modifications take time to do! So email me at rlb756@gmail.com one correction you want to learn first. Did you see my videos on the final products?
I know it hurts like all get out walking on the side of my foot. My doctor has me wearing an AFO splint as well as doing specific exercises to decrease the supination & help bring back a normal gait.
@@drblakeshealingsole Would I be able to send you a video to see if they might help my condition? I have FSHD muscular Dystrophy. I have serious supination

Do you recommend a specific type of shoe for those of us who supinate?
Adidas NMD R2, Saucony Triumph, New Balance 840, Brooks Ghost
