Hey glad they help! You won’t be able to book your exam until you have completed the entire first course. All the modules have to be clicked through and your progress bar will read 100%. You’ll then get an email within 30mins saying you are now eligible to book your exam. 👍
I'm in my first year of university at the moment. But, I just have this gut feeling telling me to do the program. I was hoping to start the first during winter break, and finish the rest of the courses in the summer. Is that possible? Can i take gaps in between?
Yes no problem. The only timing you have to worry about actually is that you have 2 years to complete the entire program from the day you purchase your first course. 👍
I started clicking through the courses after I did course 1. I had to wait two weeks just for my exam and then another month because they had trouble with their proctor system. Luckily I’ve been a real estate assistant for a couple years now so most of it clicks right away 😅😅
Hey. So you'll need your High School diploma or an equivalent credential. If you don't have it you'll only have to do a very short test called the Salesperson Program Admission Exam for $75. I've heard it's not too bad at all. Hope that helps Rania!
It depends where you are but the education portion is about $4,000 and then there are initiation fees. I did a video on exactly I'll link it here. 👍 ruclips.net/video/huJivgmSO20/видео.html
So their website says if you fail the exam twice you have to repay for that course again. But I have heard of a couple people that failed the same course 3 or even 4 times and all they had to pay was the $50 retake fee
Sure so you'll have to be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen to become a real estate agent in Ontario, but after that you'll complete the Humber College Real Estate Program and be ready to go!
Hi! Humber college has two real estate programs: 1- realtor program 2- salesperson program Also, I have two questions for you: Which program have you taken? What’s the difference between the two programs? Thank you:)!
Hey. So there is only one to start if you have your high school diploma or equivalent credential. You'll want the Pre-Registration Phase. If you don't have your high school diploma its only a few small test to get you to the pre-registration phase.
I stumbled upon this video and found it super helpful. I am getting my university degree and majoring in real estate management, so this opened my eyes more and pushes me to want to get the license as I already have the background. Just out of curiosity, what is your work/school background prior to doing the real estate courses?
Hey Steph, that's a REALLY good background and story you can leverage. So my closest was that I was in a 50/50 real estate partnership for almost 3 years before getting my licence late last year. I did all of our marketing, lead gen, personal branding and follow up and he was the real estate agent. Unfortunately (or fortunately haha) it didn't work out. I decided if I was going to continue with real estate in anyway I was going to build more value in myself by getting my licence. It was 100% the best choice I could have done. You completely empower yourself by having it. 👍 I hope that helped a bit and reach out anytime steph! 👉 @callummoorekw

Hello Callum what grade level math is used in the humber real estate course? I'm kind of nervous about that because my math isn't the greatest. Also what kind of math is used throughout the course and for exams?

Hi Callum! New subscriber here:)) Thank you for your videos, Ive been watching them everyday and find them very helpful so great job! Just a quick question for you.. When clicking through the program, what did you do when there were points where you had to answer questions on material you have not learned yet? For example, I completed course 1 yesterday and timed myself as you suggested so that I could click through the course today to choose a date for my exam, however in course 2 slide 5 its prompts you to answer questions about previous material that I have yet to learn so what do I do? And what should I do when that continues to happen throughout the other slides/courses? Any advice? Thanks in advance!!
Sorry I meant I completed module 1 yesterday and now I am on module 2. So in module 2 slide 5 it requires us to answer questions which I assume will continue throughout the course. So just wondering how you navigated through it when prompted to answer questions
Hey glad the videos help Vanessa! Yes so I know it's strange lol. I remember thinking will anyone see these terribly wrong guessed answers 😄. But no one will see those. The clicking through is just so you can book your exam on your desired date. @@gurpreetsingh-iq6tn Yea unfortunately that is the case all the way through. I was someone who asked that on Course 1 lol. Just how they do it unfortunately
Yes you will have access to all of the material for at least 2 years. No worries there. It's just to book the exam on the date you desire IF there is a wait. 👍
Great content Callum. I have a question though. I’m planning to take up the course in august (while being in India) and start practising and studying course 1. I’m landing into Canada in September. Can I do that? The website only says I have to take an Arithematic and Reading/Writing test as a prerequisite. And the registration and exams are online it seems. Can you tell me if this is doable?
Hey glad it helps. Yes, so from what I have heard a couple times you are good to go. But I still say double check here - Humber 416-675-5025. JUST because it's so massive. I know if you are a permanent resident or Canadian citizen you can obv take the course anywhere in the world because it's all online but I still say double check when it comes to the landing with immigration purposes I'm not a expert. 👍

Hi Callum, What would you say is the estimated time on completing the entire pre registration phase doing full days on this? I am wondering if it can be done in less than a year? or even less than 6 months?
for people who work full time, is this a study at your own pace thing? or is this a full time study program where u have to drop ur job to become a full time student for? also how is the simulation conducted? is this like an interview style course?
Hey no this can be done in your extra time as you still work full time. I put 3hrs a day into it everyday to complete it in 4.5 months but you have 2 years to complete the entire program. The simulations sessions are what might get in the way a little but they are a total of 75 hrs. They are either Monday to Friday 9-5 or 3 consecutive weekends. I was huge note taker for other course I've taken but I took very little notes for the Humber Courses because yes, it was taking too much time. But I have seen peoples notes in the FB Groups. There are a lot of people that did. If it's close to common sense I try to consume and move on. If I have no idea what something is I might google and take a small note. Thats how I rolled. 👍

Yea. Just because there are wait times. Right now it's not too bad. It's about 8 days. I did it because I don't want to finish reading the material and then wait what could be 2 or 3 weeks. Right now it's only 8 days for C1.
@@CallumMoorekw thank you so much for the heads up. I would like to finish the whole thing before May or June! I will be working full time in while I’m taking the course so will be hard I’m sure
@@CallumMoorekw could I just skip through it all than go back do the readings and than book the exam when I’m like a day or 2 away? Or do I need to book a date than go back and do the readings.. I’m just worried I pick a date and than don’t get enough time to finish the readings before the exam date I chose.
@@CallumMoorekw sorry last question. Do you know if EI would pay for the course or some of it?
@@justinlaframboise8594 Yea should be doable. I had more time because Covid had just hit and my partnership failed but I still only put 3hrs a day in.(Less in the later courses) Mainly because I just can't study for longer than that. So def doable. 👍Good luck and reach out anytime!
Hey Callum, thank you for these videos! Can you register for the exams now without registering for the module? I just started and i can see the option of registering for exam 1 tomorrow
Dm me please as I’m also looking for the same
I started clicking through the courses after I did course 1. I had to wait two weeks just for my exam and then another month because they had trouble with their proctor system. Luckily I’ve been a real estate assistant for a couple years now so most of it clicks right away 😅😅
Yea it’s a bit weird but gotta do it. Awesome, yea you’ll be way ahead of a lot of people. 👍
YOOOO those proctors are RIDIC!!! I lost 2 exam opportunities thanks to their customer service. absolutely terrible!!!
Hi callum. I’m wandering if I have to have high school
Hey. So you'll need your High School diploma or an equivalent credential. If you don't have it you'll only have to do a very short test called the Salesperson Program Admission Exam for $75. I've heard it's not too bad at all. Hope that helps Rania!
How much does it cost till u get the license?
It depends where you are but the education portion is about $4,000 and then there are initiation fees. I did a video on exactly I'll link it here. 👍 ruclips.net/video/huJivgmSO20/видео.html
Am I allowed to just book the exam without taking the course and use Passit instead? Just wanted to check if things have changed now.
You will have to pay for all of the courses unfortunately. Even if you don't use them.
How many times can you retake the exam ? Considering into getting into the program, but I’m so anxious! Still willing
To put in the work though
So their website says if you fail the exam twice you have to repay for that course again. But I have heard of a couple people that failed the same course 3 or even 4 times and all they had to pay was the $50 retake fee
If i choose to click through everything right away just to unlock the booking schedule. can i go back and re read the material?
Yes you will have access to the material even for 1 year after you complete it all.
I live in asian county but how can I become real estate agent in Canada I am in last year's in high school
Sure so you'll have to be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen to become a real estate agent in Ontario, but after that you'll complete the Humber College Real Estate Program and be ready to go!
Callum - where were you months ago? I just wrote exam 4 today...did the click through for course 4. As waiting time for first 3 exams was painful...
Nice! Yea it's so random and weird I know.
Hi!
Humber college has two real estate programs:
1- realtor program
2- salesperson program
Also, I have two questions for you: Which program have you taken? What’s the difference between the two programs?
Thank you:)!
Hey. So there is only one to start if you have your high school diploma or equivalent credential. You'll want the Pre-Registration Phase. If you don't have your high school diploma its only a few small test to get you to the pre-registration phase.
Salesperson Pre-Registration Phase - humber.ca/realestate/registration/pre-registration-phase.html
Hey I did my 5 real estate exams with Orea, but don’t think I’ll be able to complete the last articling one as I cannot book before may16 with orea.. how would i work to transfer the course to Humber n finish there?

Can I study this program on student visa?
Hey I have heard that you might be able to start the course while you are getting your permanent resident but I'm not 100% confident on this. I would suggest giving Humber at call here - 416-675-5025
I started course on October 22 and I done module 4 ..I m mom of two kids 3y n 4months old . Your videos are very helpful keep it up sir

Hello Callum what grade level math is used in the humber real estate course?
I'm kind of nervous about that because my math isn't the greatest. Also what kind of math is used throughout the course and for exams?
Hey! I’m not sure what grade type thing but there are very little math questions. Maybe 2-6 on each exam. Once you get to Sims 2 maybe a little more.
Hi.Iam from India. Can we give this course from India? Or it is a residential programme
You can do take the course anywhere in the world as it is all online. But you have to be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident to be a real estate agent in Ontario.
Thank you 💯
Hi
You make great videos!!
I have one quick question, Did you study for the course full time or was working along side it?
Hey thanks for that Sanimerdeep! I was working but I only ever worked on the Humber College Real Estate Course stuff 3hrs a day. Thats all I had and wanted available for it. More than that and I would burn out on reading/studying.
Callum Moore hahaha thanks for replying back! I have been studying for 3hrs as well per day for last 2 weeks.
Hope I complete it as soon as you did!
@@sanimersingh8940 Awesome man yea, if you are consistent at 3hrs a day it can be done in 4 months for sure! Keep me posted on the progress! 👉@callummoorekw, callummoorekw@gmail.com
Is the program classified as full time or part time?
I only every read/studied 3hrs a day so probably part-time.
Hey Callum, thanks for your videos. Your content are very helpful. Thank you so much for sharing!
I would like to register to the program but financially is not easy for me. I was wondering if I would be able to get a student loan or financial aid for this kind of program?
Hey so glad they help! From my research and from what I have heard talking to people there is no student loan for this real estate course unfortunately. But I would call Humber if you can and maybe ask a few questions. I have had to call them 5 or 6 times and everytime they have been very helpful. 👍 Humber - 416-675-5025

Hey callum
Thanks a lot for the videos . It’s really helpful.
I have one question, when I register my first course it says dec15-jan2022 . What that mean ? The course content availability’s ?
Hey glad the videos help! Yea so that is just a recommended time frame(If you're looking at what I think you're looking at). You have 2 years from the day you purchase your first course to complete the entire program.
do you also provide tutoring services for ppl really in need of help?

(just in case there is a long wait time) But when you go back through and are reading, studying and learning then you can do those questions if you like. But yea, first time through you are just clicking answers to get to the next page. 👍
@@CallumMoorekw LOL that is exactly what I was thinking! Good to know:) Any chance you remember how long it took you to click through the courses? Are there Specific requirements for English to register in those courses? Because English is my second language
No I think if you can get by and have a business plan you'll be ok.
So when I register they will not ask me about ILTES certificate or specific score in it ? I just attached the online classes immediately ?
@@yahyaoqbi Hey I'd just quick call them. I'm not 100% positive what that certificate is. Here's their number: Humber - 416-675-5025

Are the exams done at their physical humber college
Right now it can be done both ways actually. It moved online because of the pandemic but recently they have given the option to do either.
were working full time too ? if not then what was ur source of income?
Yes I was working 35hrs per week as well as doing this course 3hrs per day.

Hi Callum,
What would you say is the estimated time on completing the entire pre registration phase doing full days on this? I am wondering if it can be done in less than a year? or even less than 6 months?
I’m confused. Do you mean estimated time for the average person? In this video I show you how to do it in 4.5ths at 3 hrs per day.
Thank you so much
No problem glad it helped! 😀
for people who work full time, is this a study at your own pace thing? or is this a full time study program where u have to drop ur job to become a full time student for? also how is the simulation conducted? is this like an interview style course?
Hey no this can be done in your extra time as you still work full time. I put 3hrs a day into it everyday to complete it in 4.5 months but you have 2 years to complete the entire program. The simulations sessions are what might get in the way a little but they are a total of 75 hrs. They are either Monday to Friday 9-5 or 3 consecutive weekends.
