I love your videos Jason, keep them coming... I was happy to see Robert was able to put down the Marmite long enough to visit... By the way I'm big fan of the sound track... I do hope everyone watching realizes how much time you have involved with these projects... Both you and Robert are very talented... I just wanna thank you guys, it's very entertaining watching your videos...
Thanks Robert. I love metal and rock music...and ill continue to use these kind of tracks in my videos however I do need to start talking in them too...next one will have some commentary and metal😀
@@MakeItMetal great video though. I'm a total novice who learnt that the hard way 😓 but just finished my 1st Vader burner. Is it just me or is it addictive ? I can't keep away from my workshop 🤣🤣🤣
@@terryfarrelly6411 lol..it is very addictive, i have gas bottle wood burners and grills coming out of my ears..the Mrs has got totally fed up with them and me! i promised her i wouldn't bring anymore home ( but i never told her i wouldn't bring rocket stoves home)
I like this video because I like fire! You need to do slow mo when the tanks blow up like that. It would add to it. Maybe even a rewind double take too? Though you kind of did that in real time. Which I appreciated.
jason andrews Thanks. It did! It brought back memories of blowing myself up a few times. Luckily for me I'm a natural screamer. So whenever it has happened I've always gone, Ahhhh! Which saves me from scorching my lungs. Gaspers probably shouldn't weld.
Thanks Dave...i struggled with this one..should have been 2 separate vids I think. The flames burned all the hairs off my arms...blooper reel to come 😀
I wondered what part of you burnt up with that. Blooper reels are always great. Gee all I would have to do is film my whole life. LIki me thinking a sprayer nozzle is plugged up and it was the hose that was kinked. Glad you are mostly okay after finishing the Minion, for a minute I thought he was going to get the best of you.
I've welded on car gas tanks. I think you folks call it petrol? No matter what I do I can never get that gas smell out of them. I've tried washing them out with bleach, etc. So what I do is I stand away, and tip a lit acetylene torch in the gauge sender hole. You know, just in case it blows up on me. As much as I may like fire, I try to keep out of them as much as I can. It doesn't always work out for me though.
i find filling them with water before welding them makes a big difference...obviously the water has to be cleaned out completely before it can go back on the car, i would normally have done this with the propane bottle also but i was short on time.
jason andrews water was the first thing I tried. It was probably enough too. But after I cleaned the tank with water it still had a strong gas odor. I hear what the old timers used to do was hook the tanks up to the exhausts of car engines. The car exhaust would act like a shield gas. The engine would burn all of the oxygen out of the air. No oxygen, no fire. But I've never tried that myself, so I cannot say how good it works. Or if it is just an old wives tale? It is intriguing to think about though. I heard you had to have a really good running engine for it to work right. One that burned every molecule of air that went into it.
hi Jason your welcome it was funny I had your link from watching bob he's funny 2 fair play, I got one for you.tick tock from wizard of Oz my little girl love's him. hope to see him soon lol
Hey..thanks for the compliment..im just starting out and if I being honest, I'm a little overwhelmed with the whole video thing. I'll try my best to improve as time goes on. Thanks again master plan.

Weld enough and you're bound to get caught in a fire eventually. I've had it happen to me a couple of times. Mostly working on cars.

LIki me thinking a sprayer nozzle is plugged up and it was the hose that was kinked. Glad you are mostly okay after finishing the Minion, for a minute I thought he was going to get the best of you.
It almost had me...lost the hairs on my forearms! Plenty of cussing and wipe down fixed it all for me though 😀
