I love how Spider-Man's got almost his entire moveset from MvC in this game.
It’s actually the other way around. This SNES game was a spin-off of Spidey’s first Capcom appearance, Marvel Super Heroes.
Fun fact, this game while primarily tells the story of the Infinity Gauntlet miniseries, also mixes events and characters from Infinity Crusade (hence the evil versions of heroes and the Magus as a mid boss) also is worth mentioning some characters that where in the original story are using different costumes that reflect the time this was released, like Nebula having her more known bald look though in the original comic she had long hair and Dr. Strange having his "Marvel Edge" costume.

Thanks for mixing up the characters. Good use of Hulk against Magus, and nice timing against Thanos (I remember those backhands being much more trouble)

I love the fact that some of the moves from this game have been reused for the Marvel vs Capcom series.
I also love the fact that this video has appeared in my recommendations today.
Kind of Odd that Arcade 1up included this Game in one of Their upcoming Marvel Arcade Game Cabinets. When this has never been an Arcade Game only a Super NES Game.
I'm a little disappointed in how there's an evil version of Daredevil, but Daredevil doesn't make an appearance in the game at all aside from that. And the clone doesn't even look like him. (Then again I'm kind of a huge Daredevil fan, so this probably bothers me where it wouldn't others.)
That is what the evil Daredevil looked like in the comic, though.
Hats off to that Magus fight! That guy's still an annoyance to me...

I dunno, despite being released earlier I find X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse in terms of soundtrack and sprites definitely superior. Maybe it is just me.

I agree, and Mutant Apocalypse was release 2 years earlier than this game, very obvious cost implemented here. They simply reused the sprites of some characters and even so they down grade it. Music in Mutant Apocalypse is way more appealing compared to MSH
Me too, I prefer X-men: Mutant Apocalypse. Marvel Heroes uses those enemy versions of heroes, they should have used proper villains.
@@42bitsTVGo To be fair Mutant apocalypse only uses 5 or 6 villains aswell, while the rest is just sentinels or other robots or machines. And the only memorable normal enemies are in cyclops first stage or in the avalon stages.
But the presentation is way better in my opinion than MSH. No one can tell me that when they first played Cyclops' stage, that it it wasn't hype af.

Captain America is underwater now. No explanation, deal with it. Random villian will show up almost immediately, also with no explanation. Hit him until we arbitrarily determine he's had enough.

Groo The Wanderer There was another game before that which a couple of these graphics are taken from and added to the engine of X-Men Mutant Apocalypse, while the opposite is just silly considering that these are the same sprites just severely downgraded.
@@groothewanderer3409 incorrect, War of the gems came out in 1996, and it clearly uses sprites from the arcade game Marvel Super Heroes which was released in 1995, is similar to how Xmen Apocalypse re used sprites from Children of the Atom.
Magus was such a badass and I hope I see a similar fight in marvel movies where he busts open a hole in space

So you acquire a gauntlet that gives you control over time, space, mind, soul, reality and power. If you're Thanos you make a small flame shoot out of the ground and slam two slabs together.
There are some questions I have about this game:
-Why you fight Daredevil when he doesn't even look like Daredevil? Unless is another Marvel character that has the same name as Matt Murdock's Daredevil. The same thing happens with Vision; he doesn't even look like Vision.
-Why Iron Man makes a Hadouken everytime he punches an enemy?
I think you should be available to fight the e.superheroes with the original

Esta fue la secuela de Xmen Apocalipse tambien para la SNES y salió paralelo a las arcades del juego de lucha Marvel Super heroes de capcom tambien con Thanos como el boss final. Un punto flaco en este juego a diferencia d su predecesora es q cuando en Xmen terminabas la partida sin usar password te daba unas imagenes extras d la serie animada junto con los creditos. Aqui en cambio solo te daba un mísero End. Al parecer este juego fue hecho con flojera ya q hasta los personajes eran mas pequeños comparado con su predecesora. Con estos cambios hubiera sido un juegazo. Saludos.

it took sprites from Marvel Super Heroes the arcade fighter just as Xmen Apocalypse took from Children of the Atom, i guess Wolverine looks the same becasue his sprites are also the same in both games.
None of the sprites in this look even remotely like the sprites from the Marvel Superheros arcade game? And I'm pretty sure MSH came out after this?

Awesome game, but these Evil "Something" Bosses were very disappointing. Blackheart, Magus, Dr.Doom, Nebula and Thanos are the only "real" villains in the game. Evil Daredevil? C'mon!
That's because it's based on the Infinity Gauntlet saga of Marvel comics
