I have a beautiful old little writing table that I bought at a thrift shop 50 years ago. I thought I ruined when I tried to renovate it, but didn't have the heart to get rid of it. It's been sitting in my garage for 40 years. I love it and now I see what you did and how you did it and I'm ready to go give that sweet table another life. YES! You wont get that older, flaky effect you get with gold leaf but it will still look amazing!
