The guy that I originally got them off, passed. I found a seller on Ebay. Which I had linked in the description of the video, but he sold out because of this video. Now his whole ebay account is gone. I will be making these. I will do an update when these start hitting the shelves, so even though they are gone from the earth to my knowledge at this point. They will be making a return soon.

I went and got some Better, they are close but the placement of the eye on the Betts gives them a horizontal presentation, the placement on the eye of the bluegill buster gives it a vertical presentation. You can make those,Do-It Molds has that mold,it's called Crappie Jig then just paint with fingernail polish an tie on some silicone "legs". I have a few lures that will put those to shame,one is a bought lure in a couple different colors but I'm going to start making them later on.The ones I have I bought over 25-30 yrs ago.......the other couple I pour and tie myself. Stick that overpriced garbage gulp where it belongs,back on the shelf or in the garbage. A 1/4-1/2" piece of night crawler is a lot better.

I did find the mold to make them yourself, set you back about $50 bucks, and 10$ for 100 compatible hooks, and the cost of lead and the cost of a melting pot, if you don't already have one. I'll be making them myself soon, because that's the only place I can find them, and I've been digging for hours on end trying to find you guys a replacement link. Thought about making them myself and selling them. I've sent a message to the seller, and told him I made the video (after he sold out) trying to figure out when he'd be back in stock, but I didn't get a response. Discussing it a little today with the fiance, and we will talk about it more, but I might end up making them for you guys. We shall see.

Someone else said this, I got a couple. They look amazing. Only difference is those are horizontal presentation, the bluegill buster is vertical presentation. I'm going to try them, and am excited to do so.
I make my own foam "poppers".They're black and yellow like a bumblebee.I use a Mustad #8 C71SSS circle hook.It's a lot of fun watching then nail them on top and run with it,once they run out of slack the circle does it's job.. I usually use them on either my 10 or 14' jigging rods.
Like the looks of that 'bug'. What is the large ball made of. I can see thread and rubber legs on the front. I looked at the makers webpage and saw sizes 6 and 8. What size hook are you using?

At this point all I've figured out how to do is, I've found the mold that the guy uses, to make them. If you want the information for the mold, and your willing to make them yourself. You can do whatever colors you want and the mold does 3 #8s and 3 #10s at the same time, then you tie the rubber legs on. The mold will set you back about 50$ and the hooks about $10 for 100 then the cost of legs and lead. I'm considering doing it, now that my I got one of my favorite jigs sold out.
Isn't the idea w/artificial bait is you don't have to use anything else? I mean you can just put that same wax worm on a hook and tear the bluegill up...that's no secret.
Sorry I didn't show any state record bluegill. That was just an example of how fast they turn on that lure bait combo. Those were big for that lake for sure. Try it on a lake that has bigger bluegill you'll see for yourself.

Power bait trout bait works very well for these too. Just a very small bit on the hook and blamo.

There is no finer bait for bluegill and any small fish than wax worms. If there is a fish in that water , he will bite; and on first cast.

When I can I get #8 but the #6 works well too, but the 8 is even easier for the bluegill to get into their mouth.

Not necessarily. You've never heard of tippin a lure? People do it with cranks, spinners, jigs, spoons, all sorts of things.
