Cracking. Only just installed QGIS so total newbie, but this helped me use some UK Lidar data to create a map with contours. I found that the contour layers were inmemory layers and I needed to add teh Mamory Layer Saver plugin so tyhat these were saved with the project.
Is there a way to crop the LIDAR image before creating the topo to lessen the workload? - Update: I figured it out. Raster - Extraction - Clip Raster by Extent. Thank you for the awesome and super helpful video, I couldn't have done it without this.
