I've definitely said it before, but I really hope that one day you find a way to open a small puzzle museum with all these collections! It's always incredible to see these vintage puzzles being documents, collected, and shared with all of us to enjoy, appreciate, and experience, so thank you!
Out of all the puzzles, the Missouri one by Jerry is the coolest! The amount of work and thought and care that went into it, by a person doing it for the first time... that's just so cool and awesome! I've always wanted to create my own art for a puzzle, but I never even thought to make the whole puzzle myself, nor to make it physically and stylistically fit with an already existing puzzle. Ten Hundred's puzzle is also super impressive, and I love that it looks like it has a ton of details. For the "talking" puzzles, I'm really glad you got a "child's" version as well, because it'll be a good starter to see how the whole series works. And finally, the puzzle out of these pictured here that I would do first if I had them: Cats in Windows. I love cats!
🎶happy Sunday to you🎶 with all of the stacks of jigsaw puzzles you received, fun fun fun is the only(s) word to describe a stacked room filled boxes of puzzles. My birthday is just under 3 weeks away and there’s $160 + $10 coming to me🙂. Mom is sending me $10 because she said that the puzzles were to high-priced for her and no one can’t afford them. She also said $10 is enough birthday money for me. That will cover my gift. My mom (Nancy) lives in Dexter Maine. Well, it’s happy 36th birthday for me
Thank you for including that message from jerry!! that's such an amazing artistic project he undertook, congratulations to him for seeing it through! I always loooove those eboo designs! tell them to send some to my library xD I don't have the space or money to have a puzzle collection myself rn so i'm just going through my local library's collection! they have some great ones and got some new contributions recently but there's a loooot that aren't to my style taste that i have to sift through to find fun ones
I’m sooo excited for you to do the TenHundred puzzle!! I purchased it myself on the kickstarter as well as some of his other projects. It was truly an INCREDIBLE puzzle to do and it’s absolutely beautiful. So excited for that video💜
Hi Karen, I don't really do puzzles myself, but I want to thank you for your videos. I experience a lot of anxiety and mental distress, and your videos are great to watch when I'm not doing well, since they're simultaneously interesting and engaging, while also being lighthearted and relaxing. Thank you, and I wish you all the best with puzzling and your channel!
OMG That Ceaco corkboard puzzle just unlocked a core memory for me!! I've been trying to collect old puzzles that I did as a child with my grandfather, and there was one that I could sort of remember that it had shaped pieces-one of which was a hot air balloon- but I could never remember more about it so I didn't ever really know what to search for. And you just found it!! I'm sobbing I'm so happy rn. Thank you!!! 💗
I’m so excited for you to solve the Ten Hundred puzzle along with the “Who done it?” mystery! I’m happy that it was also gifted to you too. We made had told him all about you when he was figuring out which puzzle company to go with.
Ohh, I scrolled through the comments and thought they're talking about a 10000 piece puzzle, then I realized it's that Ten Hundred once you show the box. Watched a couple of his videos before. I enjoy his art style and can't wait to see you work on the puzzle!
You can really see your joy when you open a puzzle you've been wanting, like the frustrator! I collect Lego and when I finally get a set from the 90s that I used to drool over in the catalogue as a kid but could never buy, I get that same joy!
So jealous that you have that collection of "the talking jigsaw puzzle" they are such fun to put together. We own "the beach" and "the office building." When we completed them, we took pictures and printed the solution to keep with the puzzle. The clues can be a bit vague at times, but that's what makes it fun. We enjoyed "the beach" more than "the office building" I've watched your channel for a while and hoped you would solve one for your audience. I haven't seen you complete any puzzles that are quite like that series. Hope you enjoy them as much as my husband and I do.
That Cobble Hill rainbow puzzle is absolutely one of my favorites from my own puzzle collection. It actually comes from a series where each puzzle is based on a different color!
I’m working on the series right now! I’m only on green - halfway through - but I bought myself the 2000 piece rainbow version as motivation to get them all done. Such a beautiful series!
THE TALKING JIGSAW!!! I had the office building one with congratulations on the back - I did it so many times I ended up doing in backwards because I knew where all the windows were supposed to go!
Wow so many amazing puzzles.. This is a GREAT haul. It's so cool to get some of your Holy Grail puzzles, but I have to say the puzzle sent to you by Jerry is sooooooo impressive. So much time, thought and creativity went into that puzzle. The fact that he even made it so it would fit with the other Springbok state is just beyond well thought out.
lol I love your commitment to the Gameophiles map puzzles. Earlier this year I finished a Gameophiles nautical map puzzle of the US Virgin Islands that I randomly found at a thrift store for a dollar and your deep dive video gave it a whole new significance :-D
I love the Alchemist's House series from eeBoo! I have done the house puzzle and the Alchemist's Cabinet Puzzle, and I am so excited to do the Alchemist's Library now too!!!
This was such a fun video to ser. Her excitement is contagious. Being a collector myself, I was so happy to see her get her grails. I am still in search of my grails. Congrats. I am sure you are beyond excited and still in disbelief.
I love haul videos, seeing someone's joyful reactions to things they love always puts a smile on my face! The puzzles are so beautiful, and I love all the stories behind them - I especially liked the one from Jerry, I think that's so cool they made their own AND to fit with the Springbok ones. Happy puzzling!!!!!
I literally clapped when I saw the Ten Hundred puzzle. I have just finished it myself, although haven't tried to solve the mystery yet. I was actually so impressed with the quality of the puzzle itself - so much fun to solve. I can't wait to see you solve it.
As someone who is from St. Louis. I really resonated with the STL and Missouri puzzles! Those are awesome! Excited to see them done. And can’t wait to see you do that first iridescent puzzles!
Sometimes, when Im working on a big puzzle, I get a bit bored and discouraged, and just don't want to continue working on it, but then I put on one of your videos and suddenly my energy is back! Thank you for this, you're constantly encouraging me with your love for puzzles.
The Talking Puzzles! I loved those when I was growing up. I know we had Last Resort, and I think I remember that we solved it correctly? I thought it was so neat that you need to use other kinds of logic and reasoning to get it put together correctly, not just "normal" puzzling technique.
Amazing! My favorite of these were the Pieceworks puzzles, so 70s vintage looking, I love that! And the Eboo puzzles also seem so much fun to put together. You're lucky!
collecting is such a beautiful hobby. Every piece you add has a story and a relationship with another person. The amount of love shared between people who love their hobby, and supporting each other. It's so lovely.
You are such a puzzle nerd and I'm totally here for it. I love all the holographic pieces you got. When you unboxed the NJ map... I wanted to tell you I was a nanny in Whitehouse Station NJ about 20 yrs ago. The kids are prob close to your age! I loved it there. I think NJ gets a bad rep, ppl are nice and the countryside in central Jersey is beautiful.
I LOVE that Missouri puzzles as I am from St Louis! I wish Springbok would have made one. SO COOL that you have this custom puzzle!! And the St Louis map one! EEEEEE!! Want!!!
❤ 10hun! I laughed at "all the lore" - of course there's fun behind his painting but some good story behind the original scene and characters as well ❤
I had one of those "Talking Jigsaw Puzzle" (18:36) back in the early 90s. Easy to solve! Only the version I had had a different size pieces so, there *weren't* 4 pieces per panel.
I had one of those talking jigsaw puzzles (the red one, I think), and I have been looking everywhere to get some more as I loved it! A puzzle within a puzzle. Have not been able to find what they were even called so thank you very much - I can keep an eye out for them now. 🥰 Xxx
That was an amazing haul! I remember a while ago when you were saying you weren't sure about getting smaller puzzles to make a collection of them and I was just hoping that you would because they're so cute! 😂 It was a nice surprise to see a few small ones! The Frustrator and Holographic puzzles are absolutely beautiful too! I'd love to solve some of the Eeboo ones, especially the Four Birds. It looks so pretty and I don't have any circular puzzles. It's a funny coincidence, I was researching where to get Eeboo puzzles online and browsing through catalogues and the Lavender Kitchen and Four Birds were the ones I loved the most!!!
I have the Eeboo 100 Great Words puzzle. It is one of my favorites. I love that the words are all defined on the inside of the box. I wish they had a 1000 piece version of it though.
The Cobble Hill puzzle is one od my favourite puzzles I ever made! I solved the 2000 one and the 1000 one, liked the smaller more, but what a wonderful image!
The talking jigsaw puzzle! I used to have one of these as a teen that I assembled with my sister. Ours was of a gym, and we had fun assembling it as it was on the box before putting it together as intended by the company for the conversations the different people were having in the gym. Brings back memories!
Ahhhh I love Eeboo puzzles!! Those are so beautiful. (Also I found that 100 Great Words puzzle at Goodwill…if it’s on the newer side I guess I really scored!)
I always love your hauls! We had the hospital talking puzzle when I was a kid. We never solved it, but my brother and I put all of the windows together. I would love to do the Cobble Hill puzzle, and the Alchemist Library from Eeboo.
I have done one of the "talking" jigsaw puzzles. Great fun arranging each window into to is proper place. Wish I had that collection that you now have.
Glad to see you finally got ahold of a Frustrator. I bought mine when it came out as part of my qust for the hardest puzzles. It is not fully interlocking and you might have to be a bit more creative in sort criteria.
Wow, such an incredible puzzle haul! Lucky lady! 😀 I think I would most enjoy the stack of eeBoo puzzles, as I love those. I’d probably choose the Alchemist’s House and Lisbon. Also, I think the re-imagined Last Supper looks interesting. The Missouri puzzle is delightful and so thoughtfully produced 💛🧩👌🏼
The Missouri one from Jerry looks AMAZING! I actually have the Illinois one, but have never unsealed it. In Eeboo land, I did the Alchemist's Home shortly after getting my cat, while still working on getting her to not play with puzzle pieces... and now there's a piece missing somewhere. So bummed because I love that one - and psyched to try the cabinet one (already in my to-do pile) and the newer library one.
We were gifted “The Frustator” by My BF’s friend and it took us about 6 months to complete 😂. it was missing 3 pieces but still so beautiful and the most challenging puzzle we’ve completed. I’m curious to see Karen’s strategy once she begins.
Oooh. While you have my condolences for the 6 MONTHS you spent on it, it makes me excited for some juicy juicy Karen content where she says "I think I'll have this done today, guys!" and then 3 hours later, "This puzzle is so hard, what was I thinking?"
@@theyxaj haha I’m excited too! Granted we only worked on it a couple hours during the weekends we had time but we definitely didn’t expect it to be so tough. Lives up to the name! The pieces form together oddly, unlike any other puzzle we have ever done. We have it on display under our glass coffee table now.
One of those Mystery Towers puzzles!!! Love a mystery. The panel aspect is interesting and would appreciate to see how it works. Plus the 3D aspect. Like that there's a foundation for it seems like it would be easier. Anyways, I think it would be a fun one. Your haul was awesome nice mix if old and new. Take care and have fun!!! 😎😄😎
Puzzler lover here. Love watching your videos. One of these reminds me of a new company called Odd Pieces. I’ve done one and just got another. Lots of fun. Puzzle that’s put together doesn’t fully match what’s on the box. It has a little cartoon story and the two images end up bring the before and after.
I'm most excited about the eeboo puzzles! They're just so beautiful. My favourites are lavender citchen, alchemists library, cats in windows and seaside harbor.
You should get the all-clear puzzle!!! I would love to see you complete it. I picked mine up once and put it down in 20 minutes... no unique cuts, all clear, basically only false fits
Want to see me open two bonus boxes? Including...another solid red puzzle? Head over to Patreon for an exclusive video: patreon.com/karenpuzzles Thank you for your support!!
Watching your recent video of a round zebra puzzle had me thinking of a puzzle I once bought. I never attempted a solve (purchased on a trip so I had something to bring back.) It was bought at Macys in NYC in 1994 I believe. The puzzle is titled "Worlds Most Difficult Jigsaw Puzzle Penguins Edition." The puzzle is 15" x 15" , 529 pieces Manufactured by Buffalo Games Covered completely by penguins, with the same image on the back rotated 90 degrees. For someone who enjoys puzzles as much as you, It seems like either a really fun time, or hair-pulling frustrating time. I would enjoy to see how long it takes someone more skilled at puzzles to finish.
Eeeee we used to have one of those "The Talking Jigsaw Puzzle" puzzles! It was the school one, but NOT the kid's version, but a full version. lol It was a lot of fun! I can't remember what happened to it, it got lost in a move I think. So sad!
Oh I'm excited to see those 3D mystery jigsaws! My dad had one when I was growing up and I remember always staring at it and being baffled how anyone could solve it. It's really cool to see the name and pictures of that again. And wow how cool is that Missouri puzzle! Nice work Jerry!
I just opened the ultra-rare Ultimate Jigsaw Puzzle! See what's inside and watch me solve it here: ruclips.net/video/HNieUipWv0k/видео.html
Only collecting that tower for 2 or 3 months doesn't really help your case as much as you think 😅
Haha I thought she was going to say 2 to 3 years! But, hey, at least it wasn't 2 to 3 weeks.
Sameee, I though she was gonna say "this last six months" or something, even then, THATS TOO MUCH
Depends on how fast she can go through this 😅 I have the feeling it wouldn't last 3 month 🤭
Lol true. I wish I had her puzzle budget!
I've definitely said it before, but I really hope that one day you find a way to open a small puzzle museum with all these collections! It's always incredible to see these vintage puzzles being documents, collected, and shared with all of us to enjoy, appreciate, and experience, so thank you!

It could be next to the Anvil Museum! :D

Such a passion project! I'm so glad Karen was able to share it with a wide audience who would truly appreciate it
That tower of boxes is IMPRESSIVE!

I'm so excited to see you solve the frustrater by eaton! I have loved that puzzle since you first talked about it in an older video.
I'm most excited about the eeboo puzzles! They're just so beautiful. My favourites are lavender citchen, alchemists library, cats in windows and seaside harbor.
I was hoping that you would do a vid today! I wanted to tell you that im done with my 2nd 1000 piece puzzle i have ever done! Im so proud!
You should get the all-clear puzzle!!! I would love to see you complete it. I picked mine up once and put it down in 20 minutes... no unique cuts, all clear, basically only false fits

Watching your recent video of a round zebra puzzle had me thinking of a puzzle I once bought. I never attempted a solve (purchased on a trip so I had something to bring back.) It was bought at Macys in NYC in 1994 I believe. The puzzle is titled "Worlds Most Difficult Jigsaw Puzzle Penguins Edition."
The puzzle is 15" x 15" , 529 pieces
Manufactured by Buffalo Games
Covered completely by penguins, with the same image on the back rotated 90 degrees.
For someone who enjoys puzzles as much as you, It seems like either a really fun time, or hair-pulling frustrating time. I would enjoy to see how long it takes someone more skilled at puzzles to finish.
Eeek I’m SO excited to see your gap now complete with Seedpods 💜💜💜
Eeeee we used to have one of those "The Talking Jigsaw Puzzle" puzzles! It was the school one, but NOT the kid's version, but a full version. lol It was a lot of fun! I can't remember what happened to it, it got lost in a move I think. So sad!
Oh I'm excited to see those 3D mystery jigsaws! My dad had one when I was growing up and I remember always staring at it and being baffled how anyone could solve it. It's really cool to see the name and pictures of that again.
And wow how cool is that Missouri puzzle! Nice work Jerry!
As a Missourian im so jealous of Your copy of Jerry’s puzzle!!! I know you’ll cherish it though
