OH MY GOD. IT'S DONE. Let me tell you a little story, I started this video the same week that the revival came out and I must have done about 2 minutes in one sitting and then I got stuck. Every time I watched through those 2 minutes, I cried. That's no lie. I cried for everything I once had and everything I lost. It was sad, so I avoided it. Then every now and then I would open it and add a little bit and then a little bit and then I got stuck and I didn't know how to incorporate the rest of the revival with flashback parallels from the original series until I opened it on Tuesday evening and watched Cassie's (pradadevil15) video that she made for me and killed me with, it hit me like a truck and that's when I figured out how to round up the last two minutes of this video and I have to admit it's exactly how I wanted it to be and I hope you all enjoy it too ♥
I haven't really told you all my feelings on the revival, I really have mixed feelings about it and I was so sure we would get a good story for them and we did, I guess. If we take out the whole cheating part of their storyline, it was pretty good (this is what I have to tell myself haha) but with all that aside, I got to see my babies again. I got to see my favourite couple reunite and make me happy, make me sad, make me feel every emotion possible and I love/hate Amy for that. One thing I really did not like about the revival was what they did with the character of Rory, it's like she went ten steps backwards, I mean I thought she would have learnt her lesson with the whole cheating thing back in Season 5 but apparently not. I feel like she got screwed over a bit, I feel like Jess was also screwed over. I love Jess, I do. Don't get me wrong but I feel like they could have developed his character more than still having him pine for a girl who doesn't love him back. I am definitely Team Jess deserves better. I could go on forever about my feelings over the revival but I will stop here.
Now that I have finished this, I for sure have several ideas for these two under my belt, it was just significant for me that I finish this one first and I am SO SO happy that I did. Also this is my first video in 7 months, what?! That's absolutely crazy. I have another video planned for this week and then hopefully I can finish a few more soon!!
I would like to dedicate this to a few people, first and foremost, someone who is always SO kind to me and always has nice words to say and actually asked me to vid this song with these two, Ola Fiske - I hope you enjoyed it ♥
Secondly, one of my best friends and favourite people in the world who's birthday is today: KAYLA! Ah, I love you my Kayla, you're the best and I love you so much. There is no one else I would rather sit quoting Gilmore Girls episodes for hours with than you. Happy birthday, my darling. I love you muchly ♥

Lore Houben actually, jesse would be rory’s chris rather than logan, as it has been logan who has supported her the most . Even though he was not “on track” (meaning he wasn’t as responsible as rory was at first) he intended to tell her that giving up on yale wasnt “her” thing, but at the same time,he was respecting her choices.
These two. Heartbreaking.
I did ship Rory with everybody but these two stole my heart from their first scene and are ultimately my OTP in Gilmore Girls.

It was so sad I felt that Logan and Rory screwed up their chance of a happy relationship and marriage in the revival. I felt sorry for Rory because Logan was her soulmate. Rory just was so confused and so self centerd in the revival.
These two are seriously meant to be together. I can't believe people question that he is the father of her baby. Why would it be anyone else? Also, she and Jess are not romantic anymore. They have not been for a long time. And besides, Logan treated her with respect... Jess, not so much. I can't stand it when people think that Jess and Rory should be together. Why? The dude never even properly ended things with her before he fled town and it's not like he didn't have a chance since she was on the same bus that morning sitting right next to him!

Totally agree with you. To me, Jess is more like Christopher than Logan, they both tend to run away from commitment and responsibility. Logan is in no way a mirror to Chris besides the fact they are both rich.

This... wow. This was beautiful. And kinda broke my Gilmore Girls loving heart. I can honestly say that in all the tvshows I have watched I've never loved a couple more than I do Logan and Rory and it's beyond sad how ASP completely ruined their relationship in the revival. These 2 were such a beautiful relationship. Yes, they both screwed up in more ways than one and on more than one occasion but they were perfect for each other. He was her Richard, not her Christoper. Jesse is not her Luke. Logan is her Richard and that's how they should've written it in the revival instead of that tasteless, cheap affair. Clearly, a year and a half later, I'm still not over my disappointment of that farce that was disguised as a GG Revival.
This was absolutely beautiful though, hit me right in my Rogan loving feels! Beautifully done, you really captured their love and the light and the dark of their relationship!

Logan is in no way like Christopher. He came in and out of Lorelai and Rory's lives. Logan was the most supportive and was always there for Rory. He would be there for her if he knew she's having their baby. They're older and he's more responsible than Christopher. The revival was a mess! I hope they bring them back together. They are meant to be. Just the way they look at each other you can see they're still in love.

This video was amazing and truly captured the essence of their entire relationship. Logan and Rory were meant to be together. ASP truly did them dirty with the revival storyline..however I did love how even how messed up their relationship became you could still see a genuine love for one another but they were both just too damn scared to say anything and let whatever arrangement they had continue. Although since it's pretty much confirmed Rory's pregnant with Logan's baby it gives me hope they'll find their way back to another. I hate all the Logan is Rory's Christopher and Jess is Rory's Luke comparisons cause it's such bs. Logan while had similarities to Chris he is his own person and had so much character development and would step up to the plate and leave Odette if Rory were to tell him..and what Jess read books and knew her soul looool Logan was just as intelligent as Rory and while had his asshole moments so did Jess. I did like Jess in the revival but think its sad that after 8 years or whatever ASP made it seem like Jess was still pining for her over one glance even tho they hadn't seen each other in years and Rory is so not in love with him. His character deserved better too..anyways now I'm just rambling since the revival was such a mess and this video has made me depressed about it all again but rory and logan are endgame one way or another

100% agree about all of this! Logan and Rory belong and deserved so much better! still hoping they end up together! Jess shouldn't still be pining for Rory after 8 years, he deserves better and should move on with someone who loves him as much as he loves them.
Totally agree. But in one point I am not sure - that Jess still had feelings for Rory. Maybe Jess just remembered the good old times when I looked through that window. Because when Rory and Jess talked they definitely were just friends and no chemistry - on both sides.

This is the most beautiful and heartbreaking video I have ever seen. I've been in love with these two idiots for 13 years and I had the silly belief that they would get the ending they deserved in the revival, and oh boy was I wrong. So yeah, I will forever be bitter about them and yet I can't stop loving them.

I watched it again, because this is so beautiful. And gosh I feel like I have so many things to say about how awesome the video and I also because I agree with you about the Revival, for me also it felt like they were trying to have Rory and Lorelai to be the same but IMO Rory could have been a better version of her mom, I felt happy with the moments RL had in the revival but it was also bittersweet the way they ended because you can see that they are still so in love with each other so it hurts.
