I bought them for my Dad for Father's Day, because they were the only band from I loved in high school that my Dad loved too. But, neither of us had ever seen them before, in fact. So when the news of Taylor broke in March, I was inconsolable for weeks. For the longest time after Taylor's death, I didn't even have the nerve to tell my Dad I had tickets. I hurt deeply over his passing, but I was more for my Dad because those tickets were to show how grateful I am that we've got a musical bond that has lasted my entire life.

i felt the same when i first heard sabbath when i was 16. i am 45 now. but being a 16 year old metal kid who hadn't checked out old sabbath yet made me feel bad. as soon as a heard it i was drawn in and was like "who is this?" it was like coming home to a home that i didn't even know existed.
