  • Only Had the Recoil 2 for a Few Weeks & this happened. It's fixable but still surprised that this happened in open water. Impressed by the Speeds we got out of it in stock form nearly 50mph. But this shouldn't have happened...
Hopefully I can patch it up & keep it going. Eventually I'll be running a Fiberglass or Carbon hull in the near future.
    Thanks for Watching

I would recommend a full fiberglass inner layer or carbon fiber inlay

@@H2oMechanic2RC 1 layer of carbon fiber or 2 layers of fiberglass weave

Too bad, I guess your lipo pushed that bulkhead against the hull, making it split.
The lipo is like a brick inside the boat and it can cause huge damage. It destroyed my Wildthing at 60+ mph.

Appreciate your video bro! Just got one of these boats used... That hull damage got me worried for real! My original battery is so weak and I wanna replace it with a 4s, I am just on youtube looking for a great battery to upgrade to... Maybe I will get something a bit smaller than the SMC 4s 5500mah that I see you running. I also observed that you only had 1 Velcro strap holding the battery. Looking at my own boat there are 2 straps for the battery. If both straps are used the bulkhead might not be damaged like that. Does anyone have any recommendations for a 4s battery upgrade?

@@allenpowell1702 A Zeee 5200 4s would be the best bang for your buck. & less likely to burn up the esc or break the drive cable
