Hi, I'm curious as to what recovery tug you are using there. Looks very detailed, much like a REAL tug. I like the PVC catches you made for it too. Seemed to work GREAT retrieving the Blackjack. Thank you.

Hi, I'm looking to get into rc boats. I wanted to ask about your rescue boat and how that is setup. Those extension arms, did you buy them that way and if it's home made, how did you make it and out of what material? Thanks!
I made the extensions out of 1/2 inch pvc pipe and pool noodles.

Thanks Chris!, Yes when testing is done one will be available but I'm still in testing props....This might not be the fastest one yet and these packs were nearly 2 years old.

Nice! Awsome run! I'm stuck at 66mph . Have tabs on it with all the weight forward. 65ish still takes flight. I'll get back tuning it soon. Have to many projects going at one time. Congratulations on 80!

Hey man just bought this boat today, my hobby shop sold me the PowerHobby 7500mAh 60C batteries and charger, saw in owners manual it says 100c just curious what batteries you run and if the prop you have is for sale yet?

Hey. I was wondering if you knew what’s that fastest prop for the 6s spartan? It has no heating issues. I have the dual water rudder. I have a upgraded prop for it but it cuts out when I hit full throttle like the battery is dead🤷🏻♀️,so now I’m stuck to the plastic stock one😢 thanks!!
try a x642 octura prop. It should be a little faster than the stock prop but its copper. I don't have that boat so i can't recommend much for it.

I just got his fastest prop for the black jack 42 , I’ve also installed RC Boat Bitz Trim tabs and can’t get the boat over 60mph without it blowing over, any adjustments I need to make to be able to hit 80mph? Running 6000 mah 100C batteries
I also haven’t ran it on glassy water yet so I might be able to get more out of it but not sure any input would be awesome
boat runs best on slightly chop water. Need to lower the strut and put some negative angle on the strut best you can. Batteries all the way foward.
@@MrMad2424 I have noticed this boat does like choppy water over smooth water, I have raised the strut down some and that did help but over 60mph she blows over, how would I get the negative angle?
@@ianlaird9842 enlarge the two rudder mount holes in the rudder to allow you to pull it back and negative on it. May have to bend stuffing tube just a tad. The prop dasboata sells for this boat helps tremendous as well by lifting the transom out of the water which pushed the nose down. You have the 3 blade prop i assume from dasboata. May have to add a little weight to the nose also depending on how heavy your packs are.
@@MrMad2424 I will get the boat on the work bench this weekend and see what I can do, Chris told me he sold me the fastest prop he has for the black jack 42 which is a very big 2 blade prop.

@@rtv-elite-7346 around 4 min. You don't want to drain lipos all the way dead or the lifespan will greatly be reduced.

Just hanging out testing some boats every now and then when I get decent weather. Winter weather this season wasn't playing in my favor very much. Seems like every time when I had some free time windy or rainy weather was here. Hope you been doing well.

OK, I have the 42 Black Jack boat. All of the videos on RUclips show speed tests. Where are the videos of people actually racing these boats? Why have an RC boat that goes 50+ miles an hour and there is no competition? Where are the races? It seems pretty dumb to waste time running such a great boat by itself.
Grab you some buddies and go Race! Most racers attend sanctioned events and the 42 isn't a race contending boat for competition. It's a great basher boat.
Check for a club in your area that races NAMBA..., North American Model Boating Association...I race mine in FE-OPEN in district 9...mine is all stock except for the 3 blade cleaver prop and it holds it own

@MrMad2424 what is a good racing boat? Helping a buddy find a good racing boat he'll use in a large lake nearby. All my RC experience has been on land. Ive looked at a few options, with thoughts of upgrading as needed, and he would prefer a self righting
