    John Force joins Joe Castello following his 157th NHRA win. Force won the New England Nationals over Austin Prock and made an emotional announcement that his legendary career is near its end. John also won the Mission Foods 2 Fast 2 Tasty Challenge to make it a weekend sweep. John Force will preview Bristol's Super Grip Thunder Valley Nationals with host, Joe Castello.

    It makes me feel like an old man to hear John talk about retiring. I was there the day he won his first championship as a young man in my mid 20's. Back then I was used to seeing guys that started racing when I was just a kid in grade school retiring like Gary Beck. Now guys that where in there prime in my 20's are retiring.

    John may get out of the car, but he will always be at the tracks. All those drivers from Stock eliminator to top fuel are family. They are together 4 days a week, on the road for 3 and them meet your family in another state.

    John Force learned he can fit in a jr funny car and is now having thoughts of huh I could make a sr funny car class whenever I finally decide to retire 🤣

    I wasn't able to go see John kick everyones ass cause I'm half crippled he lent me some gas in 1986 at new england I was 17 running my ss nova in a shootout us drivers put together the fuel guy had left and I needed any fuel ⛽️ to keep going cause I was heading into semis
