Richard should grab Julie Nataas for the top fueler…..it would solve a lot of problems, and put a championship driver in his camp.

I haven't been a big funnycar/top fuel fan, too fast to be fun and barrier to entry for smaller teams is too high. No garage built underdogs out there trying to make it into the 7's or 6's. That said, the safety portion, (as an amature engineer) has always been fascinating. After watching this I did a "labrador head tilt" and went to a reputable supplier of race parts (partially owned by ol Cleetus McFarland) and they sell one piece bracket CO2 piston operated parachute handles. Not going too deep into the naming names, they're findable easily, and have plenty to supply if the NHRA needs an upgrade. Super glad John is recovering well, didn't hear about it initially but saw his "Working the therapy" video pop up and wow, glad he survived.

So the wire on the parachute system failed because the tension was compromised by the distance being lessened. Wail replacing the wire with a solid plate or rod fix this new problem. Boy... It figures Force would be the man to discover the new way a parachute fails. He had the most hours of track time ,so he had the best odds of this new failure happening TO HIM. Now John Force has done everything thing WITH a funny car that can be done TO a funny car. But what’s NEXT???

Congrats to everyone at JF Racing he couldn’t have prayed for a better gift on his first return to a National Event since the horrible day in VA in July but he looked great I thought and had his mind on a mission it appeared to achieve exactly the extremely tuff task they all did to sweep LV. Memories I know I will never forget just to watch can only imagine how happy they all feel. Perfect Job performed by all❤️☝🏻
