Please, be careful with the battery on that e-bike. China doesn't regulate it's e-bike market and they are known for dangerous battery charging systems that cause fires and explosions.

Hi Jodie, great video! One observation I have is the seat looks a little low. The usual measurement for seat height is 1/2 to 1 inch shorter than your leg inseam measured on the bike from the top of the peddle (at its lowest point) to the top of the seat. If your legs don’t extend enough when peddling you can hurt your knees. Have fun.
I agree. I am short, too, but my seat is definitely higher. As you said, I almost stretch my leg completely at the lowest point of the pedal.
I noticed that too. Your leg should be almost completely stretched out with your foot on the peddle. But I assume she wants to have a stable stand when stopping while riding with Key.

Wow that’s a cool funky looking bike! - you should get a special chair made for Key to sit on the back when he wants a ride!! I could see Key in a little helmet and goggles with his floof blowing in the wind as he speeds one! I imagine he would howl and chat all the way too! 😂😂❤❤
Got to say Jodie,..it looks like your saddle does need to come up a bit on that new bike. Your legs should be almost straight when peddling for maximum efficiency but it looks pretty awesome anyway and glad you had fun with it. Peddle on Jodie and keep these wonderful videos coming, xo.

You will injure your knees if you keep the seat at that hight. You are not supposed to ber able to put your foot down fully on the ground when seated. Just set it at 0.883 times your inside leg measurement, top of sadle to the lowest pedal.

Jodie, when you are riding off road never coast with one foot down, always keep the pedals level. A low pedal can snag on a root or stone..

I've never tried an e-bike. When I was younger I was quite keen on cycling, but I was never good on climbs. (How the fellas do the Tour de France climbing the Alps, I will never know LOL) I bet it's an interesting experience to have some kind of powered assist on climbs.

Careful on the roads Jodie if you ride on one. I wear a dual techalogic camera on my helmet to warn off and remind drivers not to close pass.

Jodi, ppl arpund the world have been seeing that type of "cloud, fluff" thing and dont know what it is. You are not losing your mind.
I'm looking into picking up an Aventon Aventure 2, couple people in my town have them and they love em. You'll have an utter blast on that thing, once you get used to it, lol. If you plan on riding a lot an extra battery might be a good idea, and depending on how many thorns are in your area, a good pump and patch kit will be a lifesaver. Great job assembling it, especially if it's your first time. If you plan on riding offroad or in snow, let a bit of air out of the tires and it'll increase your grip patch on the tires.

try raising the seat a little and it will ride more comfortably. your legs should almost be at full extension when you are at the bottom of the stroke.

Please adjust the angle of your brake levers Jodie. You need them to be below the centre of the handlebars, pointing down at least 20 or 30 degrees. The angle you were making with your wrists looked uncomfortable. You assembled it no probs, apparently, but if you know a local bicycle shop, it would help you loads if you took the bike there and ask about a set up. And if you've already purchased stuff there, they should be happy to help.

Might I suggest that you raise your seat a bit. You want it high enough that when the pedals are at their lowest, your legs are almost fully straight. You'll get much better power out of them this way.

If you tap and hold with two fingers on the screen the apple watch will say the time. You can disable this in from the watch app go to clock then there is a "Speak Time" switch.

Funny story, from the time I was 13 until 19 if a metal watch touched my arm it would quit working within minutes, didn't matter if it was a wind up or electronic watch. I had to have a leather band. I have 4 watches from that time ( 45 years ago ) and they still don't work. I try every few years but haven't had any luck. Take care!

I cracked up when my oldest sister somehow ended up inside of the large city issued trashcan that I was cleaning out with a lot of soap and disinfectant to kill off the maggots inside of it and stuck food out after nearly running me over on her bike while going very fast downhill on it and flipping over the handlebars. Our baby sister locked it and violently shook it w her stuck inside. Let's just say she was blowing out some bubbles that had some of maggots inside and a banana peel on her head. It was so freaking funny. Just Jodie's sister ending up in the bushes is so funny.😂😂😂
