Yeah without the engine upgrades this is essentially nothing but you can pay for it if you want.
Lamborghini, Ferrari, etc are the same way but no one complains
Just get the lighter wheels, exhaust, and aero package yourself.

To be fair the carbon fiber aero panels are probably close to 20 grand. The wheels and exhaust probably another 10k. Then add the 5k markup you get 35k 😂
I think it includes the power add on like the supercharger. They just tested an incomplete car.

I would expect a rear engine Vette to run an 11.3 in the 1/4...but boy is that moving. 0-60 in 3 seconds..holy sh*t. I really love knowing that bit a trivia about the supernatural.

How disappointing. A glorified sticker package for $35k
I like it but I associate Callaway with the wild body mods as much as I do with the performance, so I wish this one looked more different than the standard Corvette, just for the heck of it
He said that the Callaway team is still working on the engine overhaul, so I would expect the price to include that as well. When they did the sledgehammer C4 they set the speed record for the 80s, 90s and good part of the early 2000s. If they do something like that on this C8, it would be remarkable.
Supercharger will be another 30k
They won’t do anything exciting
That Sledgehammer was bonkers. I expect this one will be sufficiently quick once the supercharger is attached.

RPO (regular production option) used by GM to identify options, so it’s odd that they would use the letters identifying the Twin Turbo option and mentioning a supercharger.
For that price you could get a base ZO6 🤷♂️

I took a test drive in the C8 very impressed but decided to go with a used 997. I get it the duel clutch is fast but I prefer a manual for a sports car

It’s mainly for the rarity and significance since it’s the 35th anniversary model. I bet these will hold their value pretty well especially after the passing of reeves callaway. Not to mention this isn’t even the finished product since they were still developing the supercharger when this video was being made

Seriously a B2K anniversary and no twin turbos nor 253 mph as the C4 B2K achieved. What a shame GM and Callaway.... accessories does not justify the heritage badge.

Interesting that the old Calloway is what plays in the outro of all these videos. It was obviously a Chevy V8, but not so obvious was it was this specific one
f you're going to use B2K I figured twin turbo's for sure. I mean Emilia Hartford did twin turbo's on hers 3 years ago, I didn't figure for her 1500HP but 800 or 900 for sure.

I've always been a CALLAWAY fan since the 80s, but I'm sorry... there's NO. FREAKIN'. WAY. I'm paying an extra $35k for basically just an appearance package. For THAT much coin, I better be getting AT LEAST 300 more horsepower.

I really do like the C8 and what the Corvette has become. Just loose the square steering wheel please. Hideous. What happened to a nice thin round wheel? GM should take a look at the GMA T.50 steering wheel, it's perfection.
The mind boggles at the thought of 35k for this "upgrade". They wont sell many. Id say its not even worth reporting on this, Ive also heard they have a 7 liter in the works.

It sounds like they slowed down his voice by 10% in post on the B-roll narration for some reason. I've been listening to John Davis since the '80s.. this sounds weird! We don;t need his voice slowed down. LOL 🤪

122 mph trap speed with only 495 horses is pretty damn good.
Yes I was saying the same when a sl amg 63 dose the qtr at the same time but at 125, 0-60 on the sl is 3.1 vs vetts 3 flat. Sl has roughly 90 more hp
