- Hi friends!
This is my first time trying FS27 Strawberry Syrup colour by Jon Renau! I’ve been sitting on the fence with this one for awhile. I hope my colour comparison will help you decide if this colour is for you or not.
Wigs featured in this review include:
- Laura from the professional collection in Salted Caramel FS 26/31S6
- Ready for Takeoff by Raquel Welch in Shaded Iced Pumpkin Spice.
Alison from 2019 Fall collection is a great little bob style, she’s a synthetic piece, with full lace front and a monofilament top.
The open wefted cap construction is of average to large size.

This was instructive, Theresa. I think Alison's cap has the best combination of features for most people, except not having an extended nape. I have her in a darker color. You pointed out something I have noticed, that is, some of the older Jon Renau pieces have a thicker denier fiber, a little more coarse and not shiny, than some of the newer styles. Both Heidi and Rachel have that kind of fiber and my Heidi, for example, has lasted for eight years. Maybe that is because of this type of fiber, which I actually prefer to anything that is too delicate for long term wear. This is a pretty color. Thank you for doing this. 💖

@@Teds_Wig_Emporium Yes. It is remarkable when you think about it. I just wore Heidi last weekend and was thinking that these non-heat-defiant pieces from Jon Renau are actually a bargain, a sound investment! 😊😊

It’s so difficult with the lighting! Oh! the amount of different types of lights I’ve tried now! 😂 🙈 I’m now using photography lighting kit and some LED strips indoors.
Sadly my indoor natural lighting is not that great! 🥺
