In 2000, this would be last time in ABC history that Bugs Bunny would ever be here in Saturday Morning until Cartoon Network carried all rights to Looney Tunes.
From what I read here: www.kevinmccorrytv.ca/bubutws.html is that only certain ABC stations carried “Bugs and Tweety” for its last season (1999-2000), while others simply dropped the show entirely for local programming, meaning that the last mainstream season was the 1998-1999 season according to this source. Also, it’s time was cut to one half hour for the 1999-2000 season as opposed to the hour or more beforehand.

Screwed by Warner Bros: Given how it was composed of cartoons from Disney's greatest rival, The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show was screwed from the get-go; it was basically squeezed in awkwardly after the main segment of the block (with the hosting segments) ended and before Winnie-the-Pooh and Science Court/Squigglevision, with generic bumpers (that referred to neither Disney or One Saturday Morning itself), Schoolhouse Rock being squeezed in after it, and it had no promotion. The only reason it was there was because ABC still had to honor their contract with WB, and once that ran out in 2000 the show unceremoniously ended.

This was indeed the last straw for One Saturday Morning cause by September 2000 they did away with most of these shows like Doug, Pepper Ann, Bugs and Tweety Show which should've stayed an hour long & School House Rock. After that I just went to Fox Kids or Kids WB. But I know from 2000-2002 One Saturday Morning was going downhill and declining ratings.

Sadly, next week would be the last broadcast of the Bugs Bunny 🐰 and Tweety Show (or any Looney Tunes) on ABC.
Afterwards, this show and Squigglevision was replaced by a Disney property, Teacher's Pet.
