Perfect Houston personality. This stuff is gold
Please don't ever stop making content. I'm not sure if it's because I spent my first 18 years in Houston, but your personality and content are so inspiring. I love EVERY video and you've inspired me to start my own native plant garden up in Central Texas. You're amazing.
Once it gets established, that passion fruit is going to take over that small side yard.
Never stop making content bro I look forward to these videos and they help me get my mind off things! Hope all is well!
Waiting for the Garden Tour!! 😁
Dude, I wish you where my neighbor
Paul, would love to see garden updates showing a panorama view! The garden is looking great
Love all the new plants, they are going to be gorgeous. The bees, butterflies and birds are going to be excited.
I know!! It’s gonna be awesome!!
An ecosystem not just a garden!
I love your channel bcoz i love plants also gardening indoor and outdoor
Oak tree 🌳 😍
Yay!!! Love these videos!! 💕
where is that "earth is my planet" clip from i am absolutely obsessed over it
It's from Malibu's Most Wanted 🙌
@@TakusenX THANK YOU!
@@Zachary9 No problem!! : )
Love this video!!!! Helpful
Another great video! Always enjoy these updates on the garden :)
How do you still have any garden to put more plants in after all these videos?
Wacky freezes take stuff out 😢
I have a bigger than average sized lot and I’m going to keep adding plants until the whole area is completely packed. The freezes actually haven’t killed much. Maybe 2 plants
@@paulplantu i know I have been watching for a while now. Just saying. Sometimes stuff doesn't work out or winter like it should ... no disrespect. 😁
You should grow a needle palm it's Hardy to zone 6b It's native to the Southeast US.
Thanks for that suggestion!! I’ll try and scoop one fasho
A new Plantu! Aye dawg that passionfruits gonna go buckwild. I like adding rhe fruits in my smoothies. "Urth es ma plont"
I hope it does!! I’d love to get some fruit!
That was really quick!! Glad you put in 2 American Beauty berries! However, you put them too close to the fence! My beauty berry is 8 ft tall and 6 ft around. You have to let the branches grow out gracefully to the sides all the way around the plant because it droops gracefully. 💜☂️
I had only 2 feet of space to put them in that area. I also have 5 more I previously planted in ample space a few years ago so we’re good!
nice!
First comment, buyahhhh
OMG - I was thinking, I wish I could see the entire backyard! And then you announced you will be doing a garden tour! Yes!! I can't wait!
I’m having a hard time with the natural leaf mulch 😅. But I’m liking the idea of free!
I always love to see the overlap of plants you have and I have in Jamaica. I have the same plantain you just planted the passion fruit beside, and I have passion fruit too!
I wonder what plants from Jamaica I could grow here 🧐
native american seed company is a great option for someone on a budget, though they sell mostly seeds.
U should do a garden tour or garden updates
Yes. That passion fruit will grow crazy. I had one from a clipping. Took 4 years to produce a delicious harvest.
Thanks Paul. I enjoyed the video. The best to you and the family.
Loving your loose shorts
More videos plz great video
Exquisite garden with stunning plants, thanks for sharing.
Hello from Finland
Hello!! Still a long way to go for sure!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Cannabis indica plant would make the yard look sickkkkk
LMFAOOOOO
Fantastic plant choices Paul! I've been following your channel for a while now, and it's been great to see your transition to more and more natives. I'm in Houston Texas too, trying to do what I can to transform my yard into a lush oasis, give my channel a peep brother.
I’ll checked it out. Those pumpkins you grew are crazy!!
Looks great I want to do this! Im south of Houston in Santa Fe Texas where can I buy these plants? Thanks Paul!
Go to Jimbos, it’s in Santa Fe. They have some Native plants there. Get a sabal minor palmetto.
@@paulplantu I know where Jimbo's is Ive been wanting to stop by there, now I will for sure, thank you Paul!
I also live in Texas zone 9, but I wish I knew where I could get some of these native plants. I am like 2 hours away from Houston, and I never see any of these natives here at our garden nursery.
You have to try and grow them from seed!
@@paulplantu Thanks
Do you have another pawpaw tree? They won't fruit unless you have a min of 2
I have 2
🥵
bro more sedges
let alone turtles, my dogs chow down on the carex in my rain gardens. getting those greens in
I definitely need more fasho
Be careful with purchases from big box stores... I have a friend who purchased plants labelled as "butterfly weed" (native) from home depot, but when they bloomed they realized that they were non-native tropical milkweed.
Tropical milkweed is fine to use as long as you cut it down to the ground in the late fall
Buckeye is toxic to dogs Cuz.
I don’t think they’ll be munchin on it
@@paulplantu you never know ….
