    Ok, I’m still working on this. It’s looking really good so far. I use a crochet hook to gather stitches around the collar and arm holes to start the ribbing. When I try with the needles, they slip off. You have good dexterity to be able to do it. Also, you should make a “short” of your tubular bind off with the twisted ribbing technique. I had to rewind and watch so many times 😂. I hope mine turns out as good as yours ❤

    • @KnitcroAddict
      @KnitcroAddict  2 года назад +4

      You pretty much summed up how I feel about it. The stitches are just so different, it depends on what you’re going for. I think knitting is generally more wearable, but lots of crochet is too. The thing about knitting is it’s so much slower and every project takes forever so, I end up crocheting more. I love both though.

    Your design is very pretty. I like the way you join the top of the garment. I think you need to specify in your written pattern that you knit row 69 till the length desired is achieved; I was following the written pattern and didn’t realize you were writing about the end of the garment with the twisted rib since you numbered the rows with out specifying for how long to plain stockinet. You mentioned the length in the video, but not on the written pattern. That bit was confusing.

I never have any issues with hanging them, but I think it depends on the fiber you use. Acrylics and other synthetics definitely have too much stretch to hang for a long time, that’s partly why I always use natural fibers. • @barefacedquestions
    @barefacedquestions 2 года назад

    Just to clarify: Does the 14'' interchangeable circular needle refer to just the length of the cord? Then that would be equivalent to a 60cm fixed circular needle ? Because the number in a fixed circular needle refers to the total length including the two needles, so 14'' cord + 2 * 5'' needles (the most frequent needle length) = 24'' roughly equal to 60cm 🤔?

    • @KnitcroAddict

    Hello, I knitted this tank top, but the arm holes are too big for me. Do you have a tutorial on how to add a sleeve to this tank top to make it a sweater?

      Hallo, I read that you knitted this top. I have question hope you can answer it. The measurements of this top are after blocking,my question is what are the measurements before blocking,which size do I have to knit. I am a S size. And also the will what she used has another gauge as the gauge what she has written. I am very complicated. Did you use the same will that she suggested,or another one. I hope you can help me.
      Thanks a million
      Regards
      Laila

      @@lailalanger6719 hello, I used a larger gage yarn (#5) and needles, so I made the extra small pattern. It was still way too big, though.

      Hi there, thank you😊
      Yes, you can. You’ll need 2 sets of circular needles, 14 inches and 32 inches or longer to hold all the stitches on the body part

      I think if your straight needle is long enough it should be fine or unless your okay with scrunching up all your stitches

    Can we make this if we only knit English style?? I get confused when we're going to m1r and m1l.

    • @KnitcroAddict
      @KnitcroAddict  2 года назад +1

      Yes, absolutely. It’s knitted the same, the only difference is how you hold your yarn. Take your time and be patient, it’s easy to get confused. RUclips the m1r and m1l and take a closer look, there’s a lot of good videos out there. Good luck with your project ✌️🧶
