I've installed a similar (same maybe) set off eBay in titanium effect and I prefer them to the standard levers. Much more comfortable if you use 2 fingers (innuendo intended :D ).
Just got these in! Bought them last week and they are already here, sure we got the same ones. Can't wait till tomorrow to test them out! They seem pretty solid so far.
+InvisieMoto there is a little wiggle but I'm pretty happy with mine after a year! Finish is still glossy too even around the adjusters that I thought was just gonna flake off.
I've been wanting to get these exact same levers for my bandit 650. Maybe the longer ones as I use 3-4 fingers while operating them. Nice video! Very helpful thanks!
Awesome. I just ordered a pair from ebay for My Gixxer. I was thinking that I would have to pay someone to install them for Me. But, Your Quick Simple Instructions will be easy to follow when I do it Myself. Thank You*
My wife has a 2012 BMW F800R. She dropped it in the garage and scuffed the bar end and broke the knob off of the clutch lever. I seen these levers on eBay. How do you like them? I'll have to order both levers and new bar ends now. Thanks.
The screw driver looks like one from an old rifle cleaning kit. Also I have those same levers on my FZ1, the clutch lever wiggles a little too much for my liking but I only paid $20 for them, I can live with it.
i don't think it is a flat head screw driver. a flat head usually has a taper at the end. Yours seems to have a decent wooden handle, and so i think it might actually be a chisel for sculpting wood.
Couldn't see the tip terrible good, but looks more like how ground screwdriver for precision screws such as those found in firearms. A friend nearby makes ones just like that one, wooden handle and all.
Ok pay close attention! When you install an aftermarket lever you better be careful. It is very easy to not get it right and have a wheel lock up. I have been riding over 50 years and just put some new levers on. The new levers depressed the MC plunger "a few millimeters" too far in the factory setting and resulted in a front wheel lock up in a tight turn and the bike and I went down. The first sign is the engine begins to lug and then the wheel locks. If you make any change to the bike do not assume it will work as advertised. Seriously I had no idea it was coming or that the bike could even do that.
Anyone that bought these or similar aftermarker for their motorcycles, would you recommend? Did you have any premature clutch or break cable wear or other component problems?
very cool video.. between clutch & brake levers & a HP air filter / slip on exhaust I think my 17 sv will be good for a while ;P waiting on my MPG2 exhaust K&N AF & some Suzuki Blue shorty levers
What are your thoughts on these levers? Have you had any issues? Lots of people rage on about brake lockups because some are machined poorly and keep the brake pressed...Not sure if I should go the shorty's or the standard length!
+Booki I have not had any issues since I uploaded this video. They're actually holding up great and I love them. The maching is clean and the finish is still nice and glossy. Not even a wear marks on the adjuster switches sliding back and forth. I ride every day, and I did see the video of the rider going down because his got stuck. I'm glad mine have not failed.
+Privatel3oy hmmm might be different for a supermoto/dual sport. These are street bike levers so I didn't see many for your bike on ebay. May have to take some measurements to see if they'd fit. Search "shorty levers" plus your bike model.
My brake lever is sticking a little bit, it's not coming all the way back out when the brake is pulled in and released. I've lubed it up reaaaal good. What do?
I believe that it means the lever was not machined all the way out. Google it, some people have filed part of it down. Be really careful. If it's really out of spec, some have reported it locking up the brakes and crashing.
i got the same levers in blue for my 09sv, took like 5 minutes to chuck em on, this video is great shows how easy the install is!

Glad to help. I also saw they now have adjustable length ones too. Kinda cool.
Great video man, nice and short and snappy with no dribble. Just bought some of these from amazon
Thanks for the vid! So simply, just installed mine in 5 min... just too easy.
Great vid :)
Edward Runslätt thanks, glad it helped!
bought these for my raptor 350 atv, can't wait to get it in the mail
I usually stick with ASV but I've used CRG and Pazzo before...you can for sure tell the differences in quality.
downshift83 one day when I don't have a beater bike. Sat on a Duval at IMS...most comfortable thing ever!
Looking at getting some of these. How did they do over time?

Super easy man
Its a shift knob with a flat head screw driver on it
Looks like a gunsmith screwdriver. Straight blade with no taper. just got my levers in, glad to see there is a how to!!
the screw driver is from a wood chisel set. ...or its a homemade ice pick. :) Thanks for the how to, will be getting these for my SV
I've been eyeballing those levers on eBay for a few months now. I think I'll have to get them now.
+Jay's Rides I've had them for a long time now and they look new! :D
I have the same levers. Working great so far.
Sweeeeet! Your screen name and pic is awesome BTW LOL
BOOMSHAKALAKA!

Ramon Gomez now we're in the same ballpark. Not from a rifle though, oh and it's Russian. :D
OK, it looked like one from a Mosin. Is it from from the Nagant revolver then?
Ramon Gomez Yup it's from a Nagant revolver. :) I'm gonna message ya to send you a little sumptin sumptin.
Grats! I should've read the rest of the comments before posting my last. Oh well. LOL
a Chile made into a screw driver ?

MattMoto46 it's definitely a screwdriver but I guess you could use it as a chisel. :) Hint: It was standard "issued" to remove screws.
ah, ok... this clears it up a bit.
PistnRods ah, ok... this clears it up a bit.
MattMoto46 it's old military.

Install for my gixxer was a breeze but for some reason it won’t start now lol battery is good and killswitch is in right position. Any idea?
Did you unplug the clutch sensor wires?

Hey mate , is the screwdriver from germany maybe even luxembourg?
Nope but good guess. It is now from the US. :)
PistnRods :|
looks like a wood working tool not a screwdriver ..
i just order a pair, how are yours holding up so far?
+matt toronto they still look new after a year of daily use. Very happy with them.
Late 70's early 80's firebird?
Hey!, Can u post the ebay's link? :D
And do you know it those would fit with my crf 250 L?

+PistnRods all right bro, thank you so much 👍
Privatel3oy no prob dood
What happens if you lose the spacer on the clutch cable :/
+Redd_slayer its loose and the cable could fall out
What's under the car cover?!
70s Mooostang fastback

I ended up fixing it. Just a little more lube and a snuggly tightened screw and it's good as new!
Nice!
I like the intro from Altered Beast circa Sega Genesis
That screwdriver looks like its for woodworking. Like chisel for a lathe.
+Cullen McDonald Nagant revolver. Leave it to the russians...especially 100 yr old ones. :)
Yea that “screwdriver” is for carving wood
That's a leather working tool, good review thanks
+jizpillow thanks man! it's a gunsmithing screwdriver issued with M1895 Russian Nagant revolvers.
Gto! I got one too :D
Do theese match any kind of bike? I got a pitbike I'm pimping out and was wondering if it's worth the risk ordering theese....
