The SV is SO deserving a aftermarket exhaust! I recall riding with the stock pipe on mine, it made me sad to hear that v-twin growl muffled so brutally by the bazooka of an exhaust it came with. Pop a set of Arrow header pipes on, or a full M4 system, and you'll have deeper, stronger sounds with actual true power being made (ECU flash mandatory).

Not really, inless you feel like opening it up by drilling the rivets and making it shorter.

Yup that's the catalytic converter. You can just cut right above it and leave it in.
