N55 is underrated against N54 and B58 but N55 on M2 is a bit different, have a good potential and you show it.
@@johnMpower I’ve got a m135 LCI with around 500-510 hybrid compressor I can’t wait to get a stage 3 turbo to push 600+whp the n55 needs some more recognition n55 in m235 m135lci & m2 is a strong motor!
@@m15t3rboost3 the n55 on the m2 is another story though... full forged internals from the s55. in germany some guys do a close deck conversion... so its pretty much a s55 in potential and can reach over 650hp now (i think 800 with close deck will be fine since s55 engines go up to 900-950 on stock internals)

Another epic OG battle. M140i has traction issues off the line, otherwise its the fastest put of the lot. But I'd be happy with any one of the 3, even if I'd have to have a gapperoni 😂

It’s so interesting to watch these because it just proves power isn’t everything, it shows a good tune with a nice linear torque curve can be faster than a car with more power.
@@24k__J Haha, true but the M3 is an absolute unit. Really heavy compared to the other two. I’ve recently gone from an S1 running 350BHP to an RS3 that’s on stock power and there really isn’t much difference at the moment. Obviously the RS3 is outrageously fast for a stock car, interestingly so putting down near identical times to these cars. The point I was making about weight is that my S1 was faster than a 370bhp golf R because it was nearly 200kg lighter!
@@tangorolza If that M140i was an xDrive, we both know it would have smashed the other two cars in everything. Weight is one thing, but traction is just as important.

Got a quote using Aplan insurance. The quote wasn't too bad but I didn't decide to go with it. But I spoke to Gareth over the phone and he was really helpful, would definitely recommend speaking to him if you are looking on doing an insurance quote.

I really want to take my own M140i from it's current 455bhp/634nm to 650+ but as it's my only car I worry about breaking something !
I have seen M140i's (RWD only) with less power do better 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, so I think that surface just didn't suit the car today. But hey, the M2 is another amazing car, absolutely love it.
This m140i is one of the fastest at Santa pod, it’s an animal
More power isnt faster if you dont have the traction. I run boost by gear 470kw 630hp in 1st, 520kw 700hp in 2nd, 600kw 800hp in 3rd and 645kw 860hp in 4th, 5th and 6th (manual). Any more than those power figures might spin if the surface is a bit slippery. But usually they will hook up with 0 spin in all gears. Run 645kw in all gears however and its uncontrollable, id be slower than a stock m2.
