- All eight F-16's of the United States Air Force (USAF) Thunderbirds fleet depart the Daytona Beach Int'l Airport (KDAB) in sequence following their flyover performance of the NASCAR Daytona 500 race. The fleet consists of six Lockheed Martin F-16C Fighting Falcons (single-seater) and two F-16D variants (two-seater) all of which are seen in this video. They depart runway 25R in two separate waves with about 8 seconds of separation between each aircraft in the formation. ATC included with the lead aircraft using a "Thunderbird 1" callsign. Thanks for watching!

As a 21 year AF retired veteran, the Thunderbirds give me goosebumps every time.
got to see them do a show here in Colorado it was frigging awesome
Nothing compares.to a live show. The sound just vibrates your ears and body. You feel the heat. It is beyond amazing. My son was a Thunderbird for four years and I was lucky enough to see four of his shows. I will never forget.
+kdl28 That is awesome, thank you for watching.
kdl28 Got to see the 'Birds perform at FLA Tico airfield sev years ago when we were on vacation - one of the best parts of the whole damn trip! Scared the crap outta my kid but he got over it quickly once he saw how badass they were with the flight skills. There is NOTHING in this world like FULL BURN! Found myself proud to keep their families safe here at home while they're out doin their thing! ROCK ON T-Birds!!!
I love how their are the f - 16's taxing, then a bunch of 172s in the background lmao
I live by Nellis AFB I get to see this about every couple month and it never gets old!
You lucky son of a beeeeech!!!!!!
My son is a SSGT stationed at Nellis. I go out for the 2 NASCAR Races every year and have watched these boys fly. WHAT A RUSH.
Same here!
A trick: you can watch series at kaldroStream. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Colten Ronald yup, have been watching on kaldroStream for since december myself =)
That was great to see.
I had the pleasure of watching two Italian Air Force fighters do a formation takeoff from YOW a couple of years ago. Looked great.
3:35 Just a Cessna coming through...
+OPB01 ..."Caution, wake turbulence"...
+OPB01 B'cuz haters gonna hate
OPB01 lol
OPB01 been watching the trolling videos

Thanks for sharing this video. I never tire of seeing the Thunderbirds and this is a rare view of the entire flying team getting into the air.
+Pointeman1 Thanks for watching!
So Awesome! Love it!
0:41 *I do, my ears are sensitive* lol
Great & cool to watch F-16's in action, thx for sharing.
y'll are the best, always, thank you

Thank you very much for this video
+על גלגלים On Wheels Thank you very much for watching
Wow love the Thunderbirds~ awesome pilots great show!!!
Much loudness. Such amaze. So KDAB. Many decibels. Very Embry-Riddle. wow
+Luke Aveyard (JustPlaneCrazy1999) Many thanks. For you.
Luke Aveyard i was thinking of enrolling at Embry for some time. Starting to regret not going there
That was very cool, Thanks for posting.
+Stephen Powell Thanks for watching!
Great vid! FYI, separation is 10 or 15 seconds for MIL power takeoffs (give or take since the pilot usually just counts to himself). In this case, they used 10 seconds. For combat loaded takeoffs, combat F-16s will use 20 seconds due to the heavier takeoff weights.
I was stationed at Nellis in Vegas for 2 1/2 years for those who don't know this, the home base for the Thunderbirds, and I never got tired of watching them depart and return from performances. Simply the best!
I was @Nellis too, 74, 75 when they flew T-38's , not very noisy then !!!!
This airstrip is not Nellis!
I was lucky enough to see the same thing at Scott AFB several years ago!
Had a summer school class at Scott AFB back in the 70’s.
great video ,,,haven't seen them since around 91? At Cannon AFB NM.
+TheNeuel Thank you!
Excellent video seeing Thunderbirds 1 thru 6 plus the PIOs jet and the narrator's jet takeoff on one video.
squad goals
What a nice fighter jets and great video!
+Khôi Minh Thanks!
They were just at my flight school about a month or so ago! It was real cool. Keep up the videos
+Micah Klein Thanks man!
+Airforceproud95 yeah no, I go to KSU Polytechnic which is an aviation school and will pass around the videos. The MAYDAY trolling video like made me cry lol
Micah Klein That's awesome, I appreciate it
Yes! Really awesome....makes me wish I was such a pilot flying such a plane
I actually saw some of the Pilots at my high school before they performed the next day at Minden/Tahoe Airport...they even flew around my high school as a training excersize. So basically, our teachers let us see them do their practice runs before school ends, since it'll be impossible to work with the Thunderbirds playing. =3
Thanks for sharing. Would have been really cool to see that first hand.
Totally Sick. That was awesome.
Tower: Thunderbird 1, cleared for takeoff
Thunderbirds 2-8: Also take off
Tower: Thunderbirds, I have a number for you to call
I know you're making a joke, but Thunderbird 1 did request "takeoff in-sequence with 8" so any clearance given was indeed for all 8
(but yes, I agree it would be funny for the Tower to try to reprimand the thunderbirds)
@@davej3781 Yeah, just going for a joke :)
@@oldRighty1 Thunderbirds: Negative Tower... WE have a number for YOU to call.
@@oldRighty1 pretty stupid one dumbass
yeah ok this was pretty awesome!!! thanks for the video and ATC!
+Snoopy Doopy Thanks for watching!
I like the Cessna in the background
Snoopy Doopy 1a
More like taking off one right after the other.
Thank you. I feel slightly ripped off.
omg, beautiful!
Airforceproud95 are go go go!!
+Fergus Walsh 10-4 on that, over & out!
Wow! The folks who gpt to see this live must have been STOKED!!!!!
OMG, you should relly make your way into filmmaking. Those shots are awesome!
Thunderbirds are go! Hahaha, can finally say this and mean it!
What a great video.
Pretty cool to watch those F-16's in action!
Sure are LOL xD
Love the sound of planes!!!
WOW!VERY NICE BUT IT WASN'T AT THE SAME TIME AND THX 4 POSTING !
Compared to normal FAA runway operations and separations... yeah, that was essentially at the same time. :D
omfg that was beautiful!!
that is in sequence...not at the same time... still always impressive
J, do not accept, go here, now this is impressive: ruclips.net/video/h2WMwISL3Tw/видео.html
J......I agree; it should read "Entire USAF Thunderbirds Fleet Departs One At A Time ! Still, the best looking demonstration aircraft (F-16s) out there !
@@MultiStudley OH YEAH...
Blue Angels do it that way. Flight formation from ground to airborne one after another
I'll never hear "line up and wait", the same way again. I saw that C-17 holding short though and imagined that crew was saying, "kiss asses..."
hell yeah, got to watch this from riddle
Awesome footage. At first I thought they were all going to take off at the same time.
Ditto.
Perhaps the title was misleading. it still says "at the same time".
Nice Video Man! I guess it must have been windy, 0:11 was pretty wobbly.
Totally awesome!
love the old parted out convair in the background
AWESOME VIDEO! If only the red arrows had loud jets then their formation take-off's would be absolutely, mindbogglingly amazing! Maybe if they switch their Hawks with Eurofighter GR4's!
+TheFreekickerzUK Thanks mate!
Epic video commander!
+Gaming and Vlogs Road to 100 Subs! (Snipah_EpicGamer6) Thanks lieutenant!
Airforceproud95 your welcome sir!
Use to park out on the road and watch them, and I have seen 5 of them actually take off at the same time
nice capture :D
+brokenstyx Thanks :D
Ok I'm impressed!
Incredible
Very neat!
Only the best... so impressive.
I saw the Thunderbirds a couple weeks ago at an airshow in Florida. I went a too far in the water and ended up with them flying less than 30 feet above me. It seems cool until you realize that you can feel each of your individual organs inside you moving around from the sheer volume of their engines. I decided I didn't want to cover my ears AT ALL during the entire airshow because "oh I want to join the air force so i should get used to the sounds of the engines destroying my ears and deal with it". I also looked like a lobster for a week and still have two completely different skin colors on me. My arms and lower leg are normal for the rest of my family, quite tan and dark while my thighs and torso are super white. Bruh moment indeed.
Looooooove your video.
AWESOME!!!!!
As an Air Force kid, this is awesome!
Hell yeah! Airforceproud95’s wet dream!
Nothing like being deployed and hearing about 10 F-15s and F-16s taking off in the morning to patrol the skies. Makes you feel like everything is going to be okay!
This sound has become a second nature to me because our city's airbase always remains active with F16s training all day long! Salute *PAF*
when it said "at the same time", I was hoping for like the old days of WWII and earlier, when the whole squadron would take of in a line across a field, so they looked like a wave of planes. when they lined up on the runway abreast, I was ready, but they took off in line. :(
That was amazing. But not the way I thought it was going to go.
The little Cessna comes in to fight, and the F-16s run off scared it seems.
Love It!!!!!!!!Michele in TX.
You go guys
Who in the hell dislike your vids ahh screw them your a awsome youtuber 😃
+supreme rc Thank you m8!
*you're; *an
That cessna has gotten more attention then the planes
Beautiful😁
That Cessna did not give a damn
Yeah, I buy my own fuel.
S1L3NT_110.
i do love the smell of av gas in the morning :)
soz I didnt Realise it was Airforceproud95 ! Sir :)
+Allan Drummond Same here!
av gas? lolz Jet Fuel my friend, none of that simple shit.
That little sesna (or whatever it was) taxiing in the foreground was like “wait for me guys!”
I was fortunate enough to see the thunderbirds I'm the 80s whiles stationed at Grand Forks AFB N.D.
NOW was a FIRST for me. Thanks for posting ;-)!
+CBT19601 Thanks for watching!
Looks like opening night of Desert stir, at Al Karajan (PSAB)
I love planes, cool! Fly high!🇺🇸
I can see a P-3 Orion sitting over by the control tower. I flew in that bird for 20 yrs in the Navy.
Very cool.
I love the f-16s I've been I one the best jets there are
damn, theUS has some cool stuff!!
September 2017 at Joint Base Andrews MD
Saw their performance up and Andrews AFB!
Don’t miss them anymore.
Most people don't realize with the right ordinance and an average fighter pilot how much sheer destruction can be delivered ....
when I was a little boy I lived in Washington DC at Bolling Air Force Base when Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan was President I used to go to Andrews Air Force Base to the air shows to see the Thunderbirds and my dad retired from the United States Marine Corps we moved to Pensacola Florida the Cradle of Naval Aviation and I see the Blue Angels every week practice from my front yard but just last week the Thunderbirds were here and it was awesome to see them again keep on flying
1. Not at same time. 2. One day we can listen to things without F word.
I remember way back when they flew F-4s.
I was stationed at nellis afb...home of the thunderbirds...a mechanic for them....fun times.....
love the thunderbirds and the blue angels
I used to go to all the air shows in Corpus Christi and Harlingen Texas during the 80s and 90s. I would see the Thunderbirds, the Blue Angels, all the World War II aircraft B-52s p-51s and Fat Albert taking off it was great. I don't know if I can say Fat Albert now with all the sensitive people around but Fat Albert.
SO,MUCH,FREEDOM!
oh yeah sure, fighter jets are The symbol of freedom
+〰 Badekaeppi ^
+〰 Badekaeppi - that's right - without fighter jets (and every other piece of military hardware AND the heroes that operate them) we'd all be talking wormspeak and eating goats eyes...
I like this sound.
Dave Tonks - actually without corporations and bankers financing the wars we wouldn't have anything. So they are the true heroes
Mama bird and her babies.
Best comment yet lol
Good thing we didn’t have to actually watch a bunch of thunderbirds take off at once. Or at all. ✌🏻🇺🇸
Awesome
Anybody notice at the beginning they didn't use afterburners for takeoff? They didn't need to. They didn't need to impress anybody at the time. They needed to conserve fuel for the airshow. Afterburners consume "Umungatoid" (my word) amounts of fuel. They saved fuel for the airshow so they would have sufficient fuel reserves for the landing back at home base airport.
