THAT FIRST LANDING WAS PRETTY AMAZING CONSIDERING THE PILOT WAS NO PRO.
Vf2 no Pro pretty cool a 10 mile and turn around in less than a minute and a half
No Pro, great guy.
One Star on his head and I think he just got #2!!
SHIT HOT BREEEEAAAAAAKKK
I don’t think that means anything.....
More like 5 random aircraft carrier landings I found on the internet
"and some of them from games"
And they can't even tell the difference between the real ones and the fake ones. If you're going to steal other people's videos, do it right..
Yeah, the video needs a new titles "10 minutes of video that shows I know nothing about aviation..."
Save us all the time.
True but it still got over 8m views so.....
@@Schwedeballz never said it didnt
"It takes an incredible amount of skill to land a plane on an aircraft carrier".
Maybe but this video shows it takes no amount of skill or effort on your part to put together a Top Fives video.
Ted Stryker: "You have to come in pretty low to land these things."
diGritz1 just some skill there’s a strap to get to the aircraft then that locks on then stops it r/wooosh
RazorWolf Taylor what’s he being wooooshed on? Also, it’s four Os...
diGritz1 did he say it takes skill to put vids like this together? No he said that it takes an incredible amount of skill to land on an aircraft carrier. These are 2 completely different things so I dont understand your comment...
@@kiru7seven7 just another person looking for 230 likes on their comment..🤔
It looks easy.... when you're watching, but seeing their point of view? it's pretty scary to think a little mistake can cause a lot of damage, and night time, that takes incredible skill, these guys definitely have my respect for doing what they do.
And yet, my wife can't pull into our driveway without running into the grass and over my hose.
Raise the hose 18" off the ground , fixed firmly both ends, across the drive..Just to be on the safe side.
Ha ha! Made me laugh! I feel your pain....
Just be thankful she is'nt backing in! (lol)
And taking out the mailbox when she leaves again...
Randy Porter Maybe she thinks the hose is a “ wire “ 🥴
My goodness, America has the worlds finest pilots, educated, professional, and humble. I am proud to be a veteran and citizen of this amazing country! We are an industrious people.
Even though I know I'm watching a video, I still get really tense and my heartrate actually goes up. I don't have a clue how these amazing pilots are able to do what they do, even at night and in a rainstorm. Much respects to them all.
Being in the Marine Corps, I had the opportunity to be on an aircraft carrier and watched the takeoffs and landings. Amazing to say the least. I would like some pilots to comment here about their experiences.
Love that Harrief landing with NO nose gear !!👍👍
These guys are amazing, and I mean everyone on those ships! Wow! Amazing work here.
All landings on a carrier are amazing to this ole grunt!
I have nothing but pride for our pilots,I think they’re the best in the business, other countries may have aircraft landing on carriers, but we’ve got more of them doing it routinely.
brave men defending the free world for decades, thanks to all of you involved, now and then and in the future
A, 1 was a sim, B I didn’t see any “crazy” carrier landings, this wasn’t a top 5 video it was a video of just some normal carrier landings
That C-130 definitely was crazy
@@FiestyFez *gear
Non were sims
Say number 3 was a simulator
@@pizza_parker9689 no simulator is that bouncy during a landing. It's real.
Yes amazingly ordinary carrier landings
Probably true, but for those of us who have never done it, it's nice to see a selection of "ordinary" (if that can ever be called ordinary) landings and special ones to see how the whole system works. Have you done a lot of these?
Mr Smith I wouldn’t call a Harrier landing with no front landing gear “ordinary”, the C130 landing I don’t see on a daily basis. But I get your point, also one was sim landing 😂
I've never been in the military, and it's one of the few regrets of my life. I love everything, navy. Especially carriers. I would love to be working on that deck as those birds are coming in. I'd love to fly one, but I don't have the stomach for it. I can't ride a roller coaster without puking. I'll never forgive myself for not enlisting. My upmost respect to any and all veterans.
The guy with the Harrier at no1......He deserves NO.1. Amzing skills.
These guys are simply ALL hero's and Americas best. I do amazing things in life all the time, and I can't come close to doing this. Wonderful work all of you.
Out of the 10 carrier landings that I so selflessly watched, these are the TOP 5 CARRIER LANDINGS OF ALL TIME!!! I have no shame in lying through my teeth just to get more views and subscribers.
1:25 the classic wedge E removal shuffle, belts looked a little loose ^^
What exactly is any more or any less amazing than all the other carrier landings on RUclips ?
There's some like a champ landings in here, but when you strive to be the top,the difficult is easy, the impossible probable.
that night landing...gave me the chills...
Two of the five deserved to be here. To say that bringing in a wounded bird is not in the top five is insane.
The Chinese and Russians have tried to imitate the best 🇺🇸 unsuccessfully.
My oldest brother is an F-18E pilot apart of the VFA-86 “Sidewinders” onboard the Abe currently, he says the weather in the persian gulf right now is beautiful flying weather. If Iran wants to try anything, be my guest.
7:23 - Kudos to Hawker Siddeley Aircraft -
A single Harrier is worth far more than a dozen hyper-modern stealth Mach 6 jet interceptors that can not get airborne because their airstrip is full of craters and variable time and influence mines.
These guys have The Right Stuff.
I have great admiration for all air force pilots, but man, naval aviators are in a whole different league. To take off and land in such short distances still blows my mind.
5 Amazing Aircraft Carrier Landings and 5 ads!
Its amazing that you are still alive!
Great skill is required and demonstrated by these pilots.
love the USA
The USA surely loves you too!
Elisa Lustre ,,, L o v e ,,, Mikonos. 🌹🇬🇷🌹☀️🌹
Deeply moving, men risking their lives for markets and resources.
A C-130? Holy shit! That's impressive.
The C130 Hercules was done with NO tailhook! What they didn't show was he took back off! Now that took balls.
The C-130 landing should be #1 in my opinion, but that's probably personal bias. I spent most of my time in the Air Force working on the Hercules, and I've seen it do some pretty amazing things! :) //S//
The last of the WWII landings with a/c smoking briefly showed the gunner’s position aft of the pilot. Notice it’s demolished. The remains of the gunner were unrecoverable. The aircraft became his coffin for burial at sea as the crew paid honors.
These pilots are awesome. Mahoney is number 1.
They way they land tho....
Did they used to work on RYANAIR?
(Jk)
.... What
Ruinair are lucky if they hit the runway at dublin airport js
Haha
they have to land this hard to be sure to catch the brain, it's more precise than a flare.
What's amazing about these landings? These are normal landings in different weather situations, and day or night.
I’ve got huge respect for all Navy pilots, especially Harrier pilots. That would be mind blowing trying to place the nose on a stool you can’t see knowing you’ve got a multi million dollar jet at stake that might get damaged. God Bless them all!
Harriers can be quite terrifying, having to manage your water for VTOL, that shit goes empty, you might be done.
Omg 😱 Thus is an amazing vid!!! Thank you! I held my breathe on that harrier one!
There are no words to describe how amazing you guys are. Thank God your pn our side
What an Amazing Job to have.
They make it look so easy
I suppose that Herc got off the ship again without catapult assist? Let's see THAT footage.
Ofcourse with catapult
USA has the best naval aviators in the world.
Cool video thank god for IFR in the fog or at night.
Every carrier landing is amazing to me.
4:48 lol that sign on the plane. No hook. xD
The ones that didnt make the list where crazier than the ones that did... did you put any thought into this?
Just grab 5 random films and call them Top 5. Really?
The C-130 landed without a hook. If you call that random....
Errr...no, I suggest you read your history. No hook on that C-130.
Number three was even from a video game. No effort required in making this video, he didn't even check to see if they were all real.
I have always wondered how carrier pilots don’t have major hip problems; since they have to walk with their legs so wide apart to make room for their humongous testicles.
Holy crap a C-130 landing on a carrier???? wow
I love how no 3 is a video game
Amazing, just lucky you were in a Harrier! 😲
Looks like the second one was a 1-wire, but of course with the inclement weather it still was a great performance.
bad ass choice of music. this sorta thing is usually trash but spot on
This guy will be recruited to be a military ufo pilot he's so good
Most of those (definitely the first 3) were pretty standard, nothing amazing about them. The Harrier landing was amazing for sure though.
WONDERFUL. FANTASTIC< I LIKE
Knowing which wire they each caught and posting a grade from the LSO on each landing would be even better. I remember watching several landings on the PLAT aboard the Big E and after a while, one could tell, just from that point of view, whether the approach and trap was gonna be graded as an OK or not. Night landings were hairy, no matter what the weather, but I remember seeing several traps at night when the plane looked like it was descending on rails instead of being flown manually. That always amazed me how those guys can do that. Watching that, as well as the cat shot launches, never got old to me.
I love my naval aviators
They the Best.
the most amazing job in the world, its so amazing i cant even fantisize about it ;))

#3- Little high start...slow in the middle. Nose down on fly through down at the ramp. That would be a cut pass in real life which would get you into a lot of trouble
This is an amazing game, the graphics look so real..
That first break was no ordinary break. It's known as a "Sh_t-hot break".
These pilots do this everyday. This isn’t an amazing thing for them. This is standard everyday stuff.
Medical studies during the Vietnam war showed that the heart rate of pilots landing on carriers at night and/or in bad weather were always higher than the same pilots in combat with MiGs. I don't know but I'm willing to bet landing a jet on a ship has got to be intense no matter how many times you've done it.
Those black and whites were way more impressive.
Big F*n deal. I backed into really really tight parking spot at Target. Show offs.... Soo jealous
damn those things come in fast
Correction ! they all are amazing carrier landings the real incredible ones are at night
Why put in a video from dcs. ? 3rd video was a flight sim.
In an article I read, this has been compared to throwing a dime on a floating postage stamp
Japanese have the best landing trick and its called Kamikaze into Yorktown xD
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
1st one went in s#1t hot! Wow!
Amazing ! Go Navy !
These are like totally normal carrier landings....
Those night landings have got to be the worst ! You can't see anything and you've gotta land on something that's moving.....
A successful landing in Nintendo’s Top Gun should be here.
Scott BAAAAA HA HA HA HAAAAA!!!! 😂😂😂 OMG!!! It was IMPOSSIBLE!!! Even the refueling was a pain in the ass!! Played it every day for months when I was in 5th grade. Never made it past level one!! LOOOOL. This wins comment of the week
素晴らしいテクニック

How would the pilot know if he missed an arrest wire? Would he/she be able to respond fast enough to take off again?
Yes and yes, for more reasons than can/should be explained on YT.
Nice interesting video 👍🏽. 😎
3:30 it’s X-Plane 11 lmao but ok
Aerospace Exploration oh ok
Fantastic! 👏🏼
#3 looks like a VR game
At how much does it stall... Did you ever experience that ?
That will be me when i finish my school! :D
XD every landing on carrier is dangerous and hard, even sometimes pilots land after 3-tries
This is hit or miss stuff. Basically, you get that jet on the deck or you explain to the boss why you lost a 70.5 million dollar aircraft to the jaws of the sea.
I do this on my computer all the time. It's easy. Lol.
That night time landing was freaking insane sim or real life I don’t care freaking insane
Have hundreds in the simulator. They'd never let me get in a Hornet.
How does the one pilot hover his plane and drop down on the stool?? If they can hover... they would just land like helicopters...
I'm confused.
Number 3 is a game...
I look to Ward Carrol anytime someone mentions " flight deck"
they need to make a Cushy pad for that stool the jet had to land on without nose gear.
Gila sihhh landing di carrier tengah malam
awesome!!
