- We went to a top secret location to spend time with the brand-new Mercedes Concept CLA Class. The futuristic all-electric vehicle has an interior straight out of a sci-fi movie and is powered using supercomputing and AI.
Sergi was lucky enough to get some hands-on time with the concept, before the new electric luxury car goes into production in late 2024. Let us know what you think in the comments!

Imagine what it would cost to replace the glass roof if it ever broke?
You paint a 3-pronged star on any cracks. If it really broke you have other worries than the cost of the glass.
Lol I'll have to be financially stable in every sense before purchasing my first supercar. The best thing to do with your money is to invest rightly because money to be able to keep up
The best advice that i learned from Manny Koshbin is don't buy a Super or Hyper car until you have 5 times the price of it in your Bank account, when you purchase a Super car you add a car to your garage but u add also maintenance and unexpected damages that can happen in future
This is very true, I think you should only buy a super or hyper car worth 300k-400k if your net worth is 20m and earn 2m a year. Than it makes more sense, I'll keep investing untill I achieve this
you don't need that much, as long as you have 250k to 350k in cash, and earn at least 40k plus is fine. It not like you are going to pay the car off, get the car, drive it for a year or two then get something else. You don't need millions of money to enjoy nice things. You just deploy a small amount of income to have some fun. Remember you are going to get this money back ( a good percentage) when you move it.

It's minutes but the editor doesn't know a thing about cars, it seems, or it would show "15 minutes* " on the screen.
It makes sense. 400 from 750 km total is 53%. Already for a few years now, Korean cars do the 10-80% (70%) charge in 18 minutes. Doing 10-63% or something like that in 15 minutes is NOTHING NEW. It will be 5-7 years behind by 2025. Porsche Taycan did that percentage from day 1, but it had a smaller battery and less efficiency, so it didn't get 400 km in 15 minutes. Of course, those are WLPT kms you gain, not hasted road trip kms. 400 then becomes 250 kms.
I checked it online in another article. It is 15 minutes for 248 miles
That would be crazy but impossible for now. I've seen and filmed this car it's even better tan on the video.
I think the roof would look so much better without those thousands of Mercedes stars, just clear. But the flux capacitor thing in the center console is pretty cool.

I’m a trainee mechanic. I see now that Mercedes wants to end my future career. This vehicle, which I will never touch, looks like it could be a nightmare for anyone trying to fix it 😂

In the future you can chose to turn on auto drive .. The Steering wheel will fold in and both front seats will swivel 180 degrees and face both backseat passengers .. Now That's amazing

I would say it looks more like retro futuristic.
Looks good and innovative. Not sure if the glass roof will come into production, because of safety reasons (imagine in an accident, without pillar if just glass will not have structure strength)
Entry level Mercedes.... Looks like it's an electric car that can also run with the engine, a combo car if there's such a thing. Look at the interior of this car, beautiful.

I feel like the 400km in 15 seeconds was NOT talked about enough lol. But also there was a lot of subtle advertising in that car. I mean all the mercedes logos for one, but also the ads for buying films on the dashboard

This being Entry Level w=makes you wonder what Mercedes is cooking over there.
Seems like car designers are bit lost now that they don't need front grill and big engine. This still looks like it has have space for engine and the grill.
Eh, not sure if that interior is practical. For a concept it's cool, but
1. That Mercedes logo and design won't be allowed on a steering wheel by regulations, an airbag is pretty much required to be there
2. No storage in the center between the seats?
3. That's not a cupholder, that's a popcorn container holder!
4. Ads on a passenger screen? No thanks
5. Same airbag question, but for passenger side - where does it come from?
6. Put your phone on the wireless charger, get to high speed, break - phone slams into the emergency lights button
7. That "AI chip cooler" stuff is 100% just for show, there's no actual chip behind (unless I'm proven wrong)

@supercarblondie 😮... have you seen the miniature? I like this interior and exterior styling. The leg room seemed less than C- . The efficiency in MPKW (KPKW) went down to the average gas or diesel vehicle. Only 400ish miles. I do like how fast the charge is. The candy apple red and color arrangements are beautiful. I think an option for more MPKW (KPKW) should be more.

The car looks good .Has a retro futuristic look. Amazing interior,not a fan of the roof stars and the seats. We've been conditioned to see on futuristic cars. Very nice "airy spacious interiors and the seats as the part of the change but those seats dont look comfortable at all. They look like some metro,tram seats in terms of comfort. I was "complaining" that seats these days are not as comfortable as the one's in the 50's. I got to seat on one of those one time and man they were confortable. It felt like you were riding on a cloud.But comparing to these, today's cars seats look like sofa's and much much comfortable.
