Anywhere can be a vacation spot. Sometimes large cities and well known vacation destinations aren’t that fun because they are overly saturated with tourists and locals. I love boat tours, museums, and great restaurants. I really like low key vacation spots. Give me a nice hotel, great weather, and good vibes and I’ll have an amazing time.

Girl, I have lived in Jax for 6 years and knew nothing about the friendship fountain nor the boat ride. 🤦🏽♀️ I am definitely a homebody. But I do love going downtown to walk the bridge and watch the dolphies🐬🐬.

My uncle and cousin live in Jacksonville. I have been there a couple of times. It is nice. I have been to Savannah as well. I stayed at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront at the end of River street. It is a really nice hotel. You should stay there next time. Savannah is nice and you could have driven to Tybee Island across the bridge for an added trip. I have never been to Charleston, South Carolina. I am hoping to go there some day. I am like you. After a while I am ready to come home and be in my own company but it is good to get out sometimes as well. I travel a lot with my family also. Glad you had a good time.

Awesomeness! Jacksonville is about 2 hours from me so we take quick trips there often. We love the St John Town Ctr for shopping and eating and just hanging out! Downtown is cool also! Glad you all had a great time!

Black woman owned ice cream shop called Malachi’s Ice Cream Bar and some great food at Hawkers Asian Street Food. You were in the area of both places near the museum. If you don’t like flying and cars make you a little stiff the train honey. I absolutely love the train now it’s for places that I can go. Living in the DC area. You know I can hit Philly. I can go down to Richmond I can go I can go quite a few places on the train, but if I can take the train, I go on the train. I absolutely love me a good train ride plus you can just see stuff you can move to a different car if you want they have food you can walk around you can sight the issues. It’s just great. You can get on and off a train Now if I’m going to Vegas or out west or someplace of course I’m gonna get on a plane most likely but if it’s just the weekend trip, I’m on the train as matter fact I’m packing up this Friday and going to Roanoke for the weekend just to go ask my son if he wanted to go. He doesn’t wanna go I said alright I’m a take a solo trip so I’ll get on the train in a minute and I love me a train.
That’s something I’ve been looking into, so I’m definitely gonna see how it is! Have fun on your trip ❤️
@@hannaholivia yeah where you live you’re actually in a good spot because you can head south or you can head north you can go down until like the New Orleans area. You can go down to the Jacksonville area if you don’t wanna drive or you could head up north into the Tennessee region or North Carolina region so Atlanta is a good good spot if you’re into riding the train takes a little bit longer but just take a book you could edit. You could do all of that. They have Wi-Fi and it actually works, but yeah, Amtrak is my jam. I’ll be flying to you though next month for the dinner but if I could, I would take the train 🤣
Oh a nice weekend trip to Roanoke, my cousin use to live out there and that was the only reason I went out there. It's a nice little city!
