Red combined with movement always seems to generate an aggressive response from a gobbler. Once they reach a certain age, it just does not work to wear red around them. Turkey gobblers will even chase and attack red balls.

I've seen many comments that tom turkeys only flog because he has one hen. Flogging isn't a behavior you want nor need. Toms that flog will flog wether you have no hens or 20 because it's a chemical imbalance. Flogging a potential predator is completely different than flogging their human that feeds them. Turkeys are smart and know you're not a threat. Same with flogging roosters. No matter what anyone says you absolutely can't change them either. Also be careful with the poults that hatch because flogging is definately hereditary and can be passed down. We don't ever keep floggers on our farm. We have children and other animals to protect. Hopefully yours won't do it again and good luck.

Guinea hens can be very easy, but boy are they LOUD.
