EXTREMELY helpful video Dan! These places are about as transparent as glue when it comes to figuring out what the actual rates are. Don't forget to add places like cash app, robinhood, etc. to the mix.
Getting ungated through the 4 or so layers of account approval and dozens of documents I've had to submit to Binance US since SEPTEMBER to have access to "FIAT" level trading before I can buy even just $1 in crypto has been the most ridiculous thing I've ever experienced. Like more bureaucracy than getting a drivers license, passport, and business bank account combined. And I'm STILL "pending approval". Like wtf happened to the whole idea that crypto was supposed to be LESS bureaucracy and invasive than standard banking?
Thanks! I think it's cause Binance does a lot of "workarounds" in crypto which is better for the user. You can buy BNB then send it to their decentralized exchange. Plus banks probably want to make it difficult for Binance to operate. As a company, I'm sure Binance wants to onboard as many people as possible so it's probably the regulation slowing things down.
@@FullValueDan what is the advantage of bnb and decentralized exchange? You still need to get FIAT level access on Binance to do that right?
BNB allows you to use Binance Dex (decentralized exchange). A dex is a trading platform that anyone can use by connecting or creating a crypto wallet. No verification is required to trade.

What are your opinions on the blockfi credit card? $200 seems like a steep annual fee. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks! I am a big credit card enthusiast and the BlockFi credit card is insultingly bad. $200 annual fee to earn 1.5% cashback. You would need to spend $13,500 to break (and for BTC to hold it's value). Anyone would be better off just buying $200 of BTC every year.

Good question. Binance.US doesn't give any signup/referral bonuses. People doing the referring like me get 20% of your trading commissions. So you 0.1% trade fee, I'd get 0.02% of that. No actual incentive for you to use it, it just benefits me. (If Binance.US improves their referral system, I'll update to the better offer)
Binance.com has a better referral system where you'd actually get 10% of your fees back while the referrer gets the other 10%.

I'm not sure if binance.us has changed the way they handle verifications or not, but I was able to go through the process of Basic Verification, Advanced Verification, and Fiat Account Verification in less than an hour.

Took me 7 weeks to clear advanced verification. Zero customer service. I hope everything else runs smooth.
(Edit) I had no issues with my documents and never had to resubmit anything. I sent an email asking what was taking so long and they told me it can take up to 15 days. It took 7 weeks.
I've heard a ton of these stories... I sent usdt there before being verified to withdraw thinking it wouldn't take long at all. Mistake. Been waiting 4 days but have read a ton of horror stories

Just got a Binance account, I'm hesitant to experiment. How do I trade my Litecoin in Binance and buy Cardano, and BNB. Do I only have to put a small amount into BNB to get reduced fees, and then proceed with my Cardano deposit? How do I do both of those trades?
Excellent questions that I'll remember to cover in future content. For reduced fees, you just need to have some BNB and the fees are withdrawn from that balance. If you have Litecoin, you'd need to trade it for USD. Then with USD you can buy Cardano. I used Litecoin as an example for cheaper withdrawal fees but you also have to consider the associated trading fees. It makes sense for amounts less than $200
Binance "gets you" on withdrawal fees not on trading fees

Recently tried to deposit funds into Binance US via ACH, but it fails with message "rail for this coin is currently turned off" (even tho it's just a plain ACH deposit). Have you had this problem before? Is this common in Binance US?

Hi Kat, please do more research and stay clear from SHIB it's just another shit coin designed really to fail. The price totally dropped yesterday and loads of people lost money. Doge coin is an anomaly and it's mooning because of 3 things (1) started out as a joke (2) it actually has value as in it has functionality (3) don't forget the Elon factor! >> If anything look into NFT's that's a space in the crypto world that will be worth money.

Could someone or the maker of this video explain how to stake on Binance U.S. It is not the same as Binance.
In the Staking section, there is on option to Deposit or Buy.
I chose the Deposit option since i think buy means to buy the coin itself.
I want to deposit the money, u.s. dollars, i already have transferred to Binance for staking Algoran but i can't figure out how.
I am not getting any response from Binance U.S though i sent the question in twice in the last week.
Been on the waiting list for Binance and Voyager for nearly a month.
Getting verified for fiat might take a few week to months. That's the ability to transfer USD to your account. If you're in a rush, I'd recommend trying Bitfinex, Poloniex, Gemini or Coinbase Pro to change your USD to crypto. Then you can send your crypto to Binance. Binance basic verifications allows you to deposit, trade and withdraw (crypto).

@@hellobello3153 @Hello Bello You could transfer USDC, it will cost less than $5. But, you have to trade USDC for USD on Binance. Depending on how much your sending should help you decide if it's worth the trouble. For amounts less than $200, it's worth it to save the $5 by sending LTC

Hi, trying to understand Binance. I set up my account and exceeded my withdrawal limit. I received a rejected red X noticed and now I am not able to log into my Binance account. Amount locked for withdrawal. The message continues,1) you made an ACH deposit(won't be able to withdraw until 10 days after deposit at); 2) you received $15 after having completed fiat account verification, but haven't completed $100. in trading volume yet. So if you transfer your current Coinbase btc that you have to Binance.US does it stay at the same price point you bought it for? As just wanting to switch platforms...or you are just transferring your actual btc then have to buy in again on binance for the current price? New to this transfer stuff
The price is the same in both exchanges (excluding the withdrawal fee). So if you have 1 BTC on coinbase and move it to Binance, you'll have 1 BTC. The USD value will fluctuate, but the market price is pretty much the same

How were you able to calculate how much you spent in fees? I’d love to know because I think I spent over $50k back in 2018 but I traded on 5 different platforms in which I don’t see anywhere that shows a dollar amount I spent on each transaction. A good basic vdideo. I tuned in to find how to use the Trade History calendar. Can't figure the right combo of
"reset" , drag and highlight dates" to get anything usable out of it. And a major flaw in most exchanges is the lack of cost basis info on the coins owned list. I just want to see my coins, what my cost basis is, and am i up or down. Pretty simple, yet missing.

Hi Dan, in regards to Binance, if I want to buy BTC-USD, can I buy it in Binance? I can't seem to find it. I only see BTC-USDT or USDC. Are these different from just wanting to buy bitcoin?
Sounds like you're talking about binance.com instead of binance.us
USDT and USDC are stablecoins, they both represent the USD in cryptocurrency. Stablecoins are used to represent a USD value for coins, without actually using USD.
USDT/USDC works the same way as USD, but you can't withdraw USDT/USDC to the bank. You'll need to convert it to USD.
Newbie question but is a buy and sell trade the only way to convert random coin A to random coin B on Binance.US or is there a convert tab like Coinbase has that I’m missing?

Hey Dan, I just recently signed up a Bitcoin account and went through there verification. After I was approved they kicked me out saying I need to use the US version. The only problem is I don't live in the US and currently living in the Philippines and even gave them my Filipino driving license with address here. I'm not sure if it's because I downloaded bitcoin and my pc is from US when I bought it right before I moved to Philippines. I tried to reach support but can't find it anywhere.
