Imagine if Sega made a VR experience for home use where you could walk around SEGAWORLD and experience the games for yourself. That would be so cool and is a nostalgic piece of Sega's history they haven't tapped into yet. No other game companies really have what Sega has, so I think it would be very unique.
Yes indeed, visited back in 1998 and loved it! Still have the bits I bought from the gift shop and my ticket. Wish I had been able to go more than just the once. Great video, brought back some good memories!

I never heard of this growing up in the frozen wastelands of Soviet Canada, but I got my 1st Genesis in 96 and think I may have liked this. I often have a recurring dream of playing Sega Arcade Games at various places like High School or a Mall or something and think it would be great to make that come true one day.
I was just browsing around the internet a few minutes ago, and found out SegaWorld was a thing and that it got closed and abandoned in ALMOST all their locations. Some still remain open in Japan
I was pretty young when my mum took me there, still have a handful of the photos she took and a small collection of SEGAWORLD merch including shoelace tags, an unused sticker sheet (might have been a freebie?), a little bouncy ball, a frisbee, fridge magnet and a Tails plush (plush wasn't an exclusive but was in the gift shop) and a pin badge. Despite its flaws I loved it!
I remember seeing a screen shot of this video in Sonic The Comic when I was a kid and was always surprised to see a picture of Captain Janeway on one of the monitors (1:38), did SegaWorld ever do any Star Trek themed stuff there too? Or was it just a placeholder image to make the attraction look futuristic perhaps?
Went there around 97 and 98 a few times, was great place to visit, also went a few years later as it was getting wound up and it was a sorry sight, full on temporary stalls selling cheap tourist junk and others selling and fixing old mobile phones.
I might ask a question Sega why did you just didn't make Sonic 3 & knuckles on my iPad are the close the app called Sonic 4 episode 1 Sonic runners Sonic at the Olympics games and Sonic jump pro also I don't have Sonic boom on my iPad
Remember when Sega Forever was announced back years ago and we were so hopeful Sega would be bringing the thunder with countless ports of games from the genesis, arcade, Saturn etc? Those were the days, such high hopes… All these years later though how did it turn out, a handful of games and then shifting to showing how things were back when Sega was at its peak. Pretty much Sega Forever as it was went over like a wet fart and now all it does is intentionally reminds us how far the company has fallen.

Olha vocês estão contratando pessoas né depois do jogo que vocês vão criar do seu lado eu tô pensando uma ideia a minha ideia é que que a gente joga um jogo novo do Sonic Mas diferente que a gente pode criar os nossos personagens tipo a gente pode escolher ser humano ou ser da raça do Sonic qualquer raça de um personagem e a gente pode ter as transformações do Sonic e o jogo vai ser um modo história conhecendo os personagens eu o começo vai ser assim tudo começa o personagem o protagonista né andando para visitar um aí ia chamar da água e Rio sabe a primeira fase lá do Sonic e aí Quando chegará ele vê ele veja os animais sendo capturados aí atacar mais aparece Sonic juntos Acho que vocês podem tirar sua própria história do personagem mas que aí a minha ideia é ótima

I visited Sega World when it opened back in '96. Tried out Virtua Fighter 3, Hang-On and Sega VR arcade games.
This channel should just be dedicated to official Hight-Quality versions of old SEGA Bumpers & Videos (1983-2001)
