- Here I go over Freeza and all the stuff I love about him. I didn't really talk about his annihilation of the Saiyan and Namekian race in the video but I do think that helps makes him a more personal monster for our characters which is cool & also contributes to his satisfying beatdown by Goku.

Frieza Is My Favorite Character As Well.
Goku is my favorite but Freeza, Vegeta, & Piccolo are all fighting for second place in my head lol
I love frieza because he is the epitome of natural strength never needed to train to get stronger and anytime he did his potential is far above our main heroes I hope this frieza black arc is gonna be good but honestly I hope he isn't the big bad just let Jim stay around but let him not be the new bad for goku and vegeta
Why don't you have a bigger following among dragonball RUclipsrs. I love this!
I'm happy you enjoyed it! My DB vids have been getting a bit of traction lately so that's been good.

How do you feel about him in Dragon Ball Super?
I don't really keep up with DB Super (I never fully watched the anime & I don't read the manga) but from what I've seen I personally don't like that he's still around. That's not to say he's handled horribly, they've done some good stuff with him. His recruitment episodes in the ToP are really cool & the novelty of having him team up with Goku against Jiren is pretty neat. For me though his continued presences just undermines what he originally represented. That is to say he's not the antithesis of the series anymore.
Like, before Freeza was a lazy, vile bastard that was never willing to change. So much so that Goku eventually gave up on showing him mercy and seemingly killed him because he was just that far gone, but things are different now. Freeza's trained, he's joined forces with Goku to save the universe, and our characters even let him off the hook for no real reason (I'm referring to when Gogeta let him go at the end of the Broly movie). He's still shown to be a villain but he's treated kind of like an arch rival now too.
All of that kind of had to be the case if he was going to return and stick around but that's why I wish he just didn't come back at all. Still, I know there are some that like that he's developed and that's fine but imo I just think it takes away from what I loved about him the most. I just really liked that he represented the absolute worst of the worst in the series.
@@shadowhugger2860 I can understand where you’re coming from. I definitely feel that him being brought back so many times has really takes away his villainous presence.
I actually like Super bringing back Frieza, it's a cool twist to the Dragon Balls being used to bring back "good" people. Also, his latent potential being so high makes him more terrifying to me, and also sets him up as the "Ultimate Evil" that the series originally made him out to be, not only that - but it also highlights a contrast between Goku and Frieza, Goku represents "Hardwork, Effort, Honest Evolution, etc." whilst Frieza represents "Great Genetics, Latent Power, Cheap Growth, etc." It's really cool to me, so I'm glad that Super did this with his character.
