What size wrench is needed to unscrew the fitting in the radiator? I had a minor leak; the hose was all nasty. Today, I found a small puddle under the car and it was wet in one area of the line. I don't know if I'll be able to get the clip out or if I'll need to unscrew the quick connect fitting from the radiator.
@Elle-tokahbaby yeah I talk about the clip around 03:25. There's no way it is 27mm. That us humongous and you can't fit a socket on it anyway because of the line. You will need a wrench.
@williambell6975 that's where my leak was coming from. So my 17 impala had no Delco part thT would fit. Chevy doesn't make em. I found that the dumb mechanic/dealership idk put a generic seal on my radiator connector where the transmission cooler line goes into So it's only been a few days of my trouble shooting. All Delco connector haven't fit so far. Not trying to buy a radiator or transmission cooler. Gonna try the seals of the Delco and put them on my original fitting. And or try a pick n pull ND see if I find a radiator with it on there...let me know if u find the fix.
Wait no I read that and replied quickly while playing tennis. Transmission cooler lines have transmission fluid, not coolant. You have a leak in your cooling system. Likely a water pump but the best way to know for sure is to rent coolant system pressure tester from an auto parts store. You hook it to the coolant reservoir and pump it up to add pressure and then look for leaks.
On the radiator right? I would just unscrew it but once the pin is removed, it should pop out. If it doesn't, unscrew it then so you don't force it. Once it's unscrewed, you will be able to get it out
Sweet thanks for the info
Did you have to remote the trans fluid or you just did it?
Probably don't have to but more will leak out for sure
It's probably a good time for you to do a dump and fill anyway

I don't remember. It was about a year and a half ago. Maybe try an adjustable wrench
I believe u have to remove that clip to get the line out. But I think I used 27mm socket

Yes I was speaking on the actual connector that is in the radiator..

Where did you get your part for your Malibu? What is it called?
It's a transmission cooler line. I bought it from gm. Part No.: 22981680. But there are two. Make sure you buy the right one
I have a 2013 Chevy Malibu and it’s over heating and leaking coolant . It’s a pin hole somewhere. Could this be the problem?
Could be!

Is the one you doing the outlet or the inlet line?
i say it in the video. Pretty sure its the tranny outlet and radiator inlet.
Oh My bad bud, guess I’m going deaf. But thank you for still stating it

Another question. So when when you removed the bottom line did coolant leak out or trans fluid?
Trans fluid

I'm sorry I don't really understand the scenario you are describing. What kind of oil, motor oil or transmission oil?
@@JonnyAbs-0 Transmission
@usmaankhan7545 ok can you explain the issue a bit differently? You are using the word "cup" incorrectly I think.
Are you getting an error message coming up? If so, What is the error message?
Whats the part number?
119076-06002450 and 119076-06152944
Please next time show on the video how to remove the hose (show ) don't try to explain bla bla bla.
@noecampos1359 are you doing the job? Then film it and show whatever you want in your video. Bla bla bla
@@JonnyAbs-0 y you like just talk don do videos just talk about
@noecampos1359 you have to do this job right? Film the whole thing g and post a better video. If not, then shut up.
How did you get the outlet one out(the one on the top) i took the pin off but I can’t get the actual line out
