My brother and I bought a 21’ Skater with twins from Peter in 1989. We knew nothing about fast boats except that we wanted one. Peter was so patient with us over the phone. We had no idea what we were getting until we arrived at Skater to pick it up. Pete was in the back sanding a mold himself. That’s when we realized we bought the best boat out there.
This man is a genius. His boats are incredible and are second to none! He has paved the way for catamaran building.

Mr. Hledin is the man, along with his Team of dedicaded employee's who have created the best Catamarans in the World in my opinion. Skater Powerboats.😊👍👍

Raced offshore in many Skaters, mine and other people's.
Everything else is just a pop!
Greatest times in my life were in Skaters.
Screw poker runs there was nothing like old times offshore racing. Not the crap they do now 40 miles 😂. Raced in 80's till early 2000's. Going back for a visit again one day.
Boats are awesome. Totally rule. I'll never buy any other boat but a Skater. Everyone there is such a total pleasure to work with.

years earlier . Not to say he didn't take it to the next and next level , he certainly did. Just a reminder how awesome the original Cougars were.
