Not gonna lie. Shane is way too sensitive for having the style of an offensive comedian. He's made jokes about homophobia, racism, school shootings, pedophilia, and probably other offensive topics, yet he gets offended at a joke because it effected him on a personal level, and the joke wasnt even that bad. Shane is the same guy who said he rooted for the pedophiles on To Catch a Predator. Shane is being a hypocrite and has no room to be upset at the jokes made on the podcast unless he decides to stop making offensive jokes as well, which he never will. So he can either take it on the chin like everyone else or pursue a different career because comedy is not the place to get offended, especially when diabled jokes are as common as they are.

The “punching Down” line was so good, it immediately diffused the situation. And it was getting tense too… well done. And then he even apologized, and said he was genuinely sorry and felt bad for bringing up the clips. Dunno that guy’s name, but I was impressed by him in that moment

Nah I think you are 100% spot on with the Down syndrome stuff. Shane thinks it’s hilarious that people look down on them and sees the beauty in the way they look the world. These dudes were just laughing at specific people and looking down on them. I think he was torn since them making fun of him for looking a little Down-ish is totally fine with him.

Hmmm but does it really change anything? What did the arguing accomplish? Did Schultz change? I’m just saying, it’s more than just being “inconvenient” in arguing with someone, it’s the fact that it doesn’t actually change anything. Unless you genuinely believe you’re going to change the persons mind, I really don’t see a reason in arguing.

@@beastness501 I get where you are coming from, but it's in the little things that you show your strength of character. It's hard to keep to your principles in all situations as a lot of the time it would be inconvenient and not result in much change at the time, but the more consistent you are, the stronger your character becomes, and the more you give in with excuses like "What would arguing accomplish, Did they change?" the weaker your character becomes.
