Gravel and dirt roads are ok but that rough slow crawling is fun to me

Amazing trail my friend, like you said 2 hours is a long video to sit through glad your going to break them up. One thing about the Overland 1000 is the huge gas tank 30L, thanks for sharing

Thanks John. I'm definitely a little sore today lol. And yes I love the fact the overland can drive for hours without having to worry about fuel.

I'm watching this as I'm recovering from MPFL Reconstructive surgery in Feb. Your daughter is a champ 💪 I blew my knee up pushing my ATV.. I was asking the doctor how long until I can ride again, as I'm sure she was as well. Us trail people are just built differently I guess 😂 I am running an RNG primary kit on my CForce 600 and it's been great.

@DoritoMcBeef awesome! I love hearing positive stories like this. And yes she's a champ and definitely built different. I wish you a speedy recovery my friend and I'll see you on the trails.

There's an easier way to get to 4 bass if you go all the way to the end of Lorain Valley across the chute and up the hill

@albinosguy Yup I've been that way. I wanted to get to it on an ATV which in part 5 of the series. I succeeded.

Great views and great video. I enjoy the extended length of ride videos like this because I can play them on my extra screen while working and it it feels like I'm along on the trip.
Where did you find that CFMoto box for the back? The only box I could find outside of the expensive 3 piece factory kit is the Tesseract, but I'd have to pay $275 US to get it shipped to me in the States. So a $500 box would become $750.

Thank you for the kind words. Means alot knowing people are enjoying my content. I love the long videos myself. I'm currently uploading part 2 of Red Squirrel rd and should be done in a few hours.
My rear box actually came with my Overland. It was all a package deal from my dealer. 2 up seat, large cargo box, small cargo box and rhino grips in the front for my hunting firearm.

@@Mud-Sweat-Gears Good score from the dealer! I can't remember if it was this video or one of your others, but you had mentioned things shifting and bouncing around in your cargo box. I was having the same issue and it was annoying because I felt like I always had to pack the box to the top if for no other reason than to keep things from moving around.
My final solution was to buy several different dry bags of different sizes (2L, 5L, 10L, etc) and I'd roll them full of air and they act as a soft spacer between my gear and the empty space. You can even let air out of the dry bags as you add things to the box during your trip. Some will say that the cost of purchasing a couple dry bags just to take up space isn't worth it.......but I disagree. 1) Dry bags always come in handy, 2) you can constantly adjust the size by how much air you keep in the bag as you roll it up, and 3) I'm no longer damaging gear or ruining things by having them bounce around inside the cargo box.

@dbs311 that's actually a really good idea. I've been using old blankets, pillows and I always keep a hoodie in there just in case something happens and I need some extra warmth. Most of the stuff I carry is tool related anyways like a booster pack, tool bag, battery powered tire Inflator, my chain saw and my cooler.

Would like to know your thoughts on the Overland 1000. I know that CF Moto has come out with a gen 3 but I am curious about the Overland 1000 since you will be able to get one much cheaper now. We own only Canam's right now but flirting with the idea of a CF Moto for my next ATV. Also, great video!

I am actually doing a maintenance video right now about a review of the overland and some tips and tricks for all cf moto owners. It should be done and uploaded in the next day or so. Keep an eye for it. I love my Overland. Switching from polaris was a hard choice for me but I have no regrets about it. I appreciate the feedback and glad you liked the video.

    • @adampecore6917

I’d steer clear of the CF machines.
I currently have a ‘22 Overland with only 675 miles. I was riding about 20mph and it dropped an exhaust valve. Took seven weeks to get it repaired because they couldn’t get parts and it cost $1400.
Finally got it back, 2nd 20 minute ride, right rear taillight doesn’t work.
I had a ‘20 Outlander XT Max. Maintenance was kind of a pain in the *ss but it’s was a beautiful machine.
I’d stick with your Can Am.

@adampecore6917 everyone has there preference. Friday builds are common among any brand unfortunately and they all can have flaws. I've had nothing but great riding experiences with my 23 overland 1000 and trusty old 2002 Sportsman 500 HO. Ease of maintenance and readily available parts is what makes it a no brainer for me. I have a great local dealer and supplier as well.

    • @adampecore6917
      @adampecore6917 2 месяца назад +2

@@Mud-Sweat-Gears absolutely. I understand all brands can have issues.
He asked about experiences and I chimed in with mine.
Who’s your local dealer and supplier? If be interested in going through them when I need more parts.
Also, trade/resale on CF definitely isn’t sane as other brands. Something else to be aware of.
