Great video George 👍 that is one impressive piece of kit 🙄 well two impressive bits of kit the mole plough as well 👌 way the weather ☁️ going in this country reckon we could see a lot more of this being done 👍
That’s a busting lot of hp to put on the inside (traction) lugs of those tracks. Even worse for the biggest ones they have now of 700hp I remember being at a big ploughing match at Banbury, 20 odd years ago. They had a Cat Challenger, JD crawlers and a Quadtrack ploughing. It pissed down the night before and all during that day. First to stop was the JD, Then the Cat. So that’s when they decided to put 2 more furrows on the Quadtrack’s plough. It didn’t know when to stop or what rain and wet ground was!
George with that weight and HP no effort at all and combine with tracks no problem, i remember a contractor coming to our place{if im wrong pls correct me} having a mole plough much bigger than the ones you've shown, the business end was like a huge cone all one solid implement, i think it was pulled by john Deere 8850 ?, another good video.
That sounded sweet...👍🏻... So sir.. what you using on a mole plough next? 😁.. Half track ? How's the water down your way doing? Flippin chucking it down up here in Aberdeen the last few days.. stay safe 🏴
Wonder if you watched ollys farm pulling a 3 row subsoil with lifters with his 155 r compared to your video with the 220 new Holland with single mole plough ground conditions and depth make a big difference of course but I thought his tractor did not bad at all
Improves soil excess water drainage by creating a slice through the soil down to the to the tube at the bottom of the leg. It also creates various cracks in the soil profile running sideway and upwards. When the excess water has been drained away it allows air into the soil which plant roots need and thrive on, In addition to all this the cutting and cracking action breaks up subsoil compaction action again allowing plant roots to penetrate down into the soil deeper than they otherwise would do so. Distance apart is largely dictated by time available (slow process), clay content of the soil, traction available for tractor grip, costs (time available at a busy time of year, diesel, wear and tear). Another factor on some soils is how wide apart is if any tile drainage stem and has that been installed with gravel backfill. Distance apart is traditionally 2m on the heaviest soils and perhaps 4 - 6m on lighter soils
No need ten years mole Again George just dig down Down have look see if got Good hole in clay do grass Back home before winter Soil close back in before Spring turn out grass grow quickly warm up
Superb video George thankyou something about the old quadtracs ❤👍👍
Thanks for a great video, especially loved the camera work, editing and commentary on this one, entertaining and instructive.
Cracking video again George what a beast of a machine keep up with the great video George 👍👍👍👍👍
The first quadttac's are iconic.
What a lovely sounding engine on the Case , you need all that horsepower for twin moling . Excellent video George 🚜 🔧 👍
Another great video George 👌
Mighty stuff Men, another weapon of a yoke👌👍💪🙏🙂
Hi George Very Nice One Thanks again
That’s a great combination there when you take it she is pulling a double mole. Another great video George and you explain everything down to a tee
Great video George! The CASE has certainly got some pulling power, very impressive.
Cheers Charles 👍
😆👌😁 A little bit naughty for a Friday evening George! She just doesn’t care about a twin leg mole 😆 wonder if she’d start noticing 3 legs 🤔🤷♂
That was indeed a cracking good video George. - what a lovely machine!! 😊
Great tractor and great photography too.
Cheers Matt 👍
Great video George 👍 that is one impressive piece of kit 🙄 well two impressive bits of kit the mole plough as well 👌 way the weather ☁️ going in this country reckon we could see a lot more of this being done 👍
Thanks George loved that... Take care sir...
Even with the door open, creating aerodynamic drag! Still not a bother. Pulling like a train!
Hello George cracking video that mole looks similar to our maid well mole and that takes some pulling look forward to the next video 👍👍
Another great video George. Thats a beast of a machine
A walk in the park mate!! Cheers buddy for upload.Regards and thanks👍👍👍😊
Be interesting to see the difference in fuel consumption between the Quad and the CAT.
It's got that tingle factor to it hasn't it? Yet another great video George, thanks.
Another great video George wot a machine Case is🚜😊👍
I'm near Saffron Walden. There's a lot of moleing going on here. It must have been bought on by last year's wet winter.
Hallo george Nice Film from Case quadtrac at mole ploughing. In my area drived a 9380 quadtrac
That’s a busting lot of hp to put on the inside (traction) lugs of those tracks.
Even worse for the biggest ones they have now of 700hp

Fabulous fabulous video that case is an absolute brute 👍👍👍
Great video George. 👍
Who else thinks George is getting even better looking with a bit of age,,

Im sure you need one of those George...
👍 love old school machines.
Great vid mate, I’d love a rip in one of those quads just to see what it’s like
The sound alone gets a like!
This might also explain why a small increase in subsoiler depth make such a difference in power requirements
Awesome beast would love one myself
Interesting pulsed-sound from the tracks - it almost sounded like hitting a taught wire and the swooshy noise.
Hell of a tractor!
Now let's see the TW on the man's twin leg.
Outstanding 😊
Excellent
Wow imagine meeting that big beast on a country lane 🚜lol
Videos like this need a health warning.
May affect your bank balance. May affect the relationship with your wife. 😂😂
😂 you'd love one👌
@@GeorgeSaundersI know!!!!
Lovely job. What depth are u in?
That sounded sweet...👍🏻... So sir.. what you using on a mole plough next? 😁.. Half track ? How's the water down your way doing? Flippin chucking it down up here in Aberdeen the last few days.. stay safe 🏴
Hi George.
I’ve read several different opinions online. What is your reasoning for doing this subsoiling?
Another king on the mole but u won’t beat a d8 mate
Awsome video George 👍👍👍👍
Why are the tracks on the rear axle different from the ones on the front?
Awesome content George. That 9380 is some animal, you in the market for one now?
like a hot knife through butter . 👍👍

U ever heard of the maidwell moler firm from Northamptonshire
Can you please explain in the next vid why are you doing the mole plough? what is the purpose?
Helps with drainage!
What a monster ❤
The CAT is Still the Boss
Did versatile make some tractors for Ford????
Yes after the FW series, Versatile built a couple of model series for Ford 👍
Why is it going one way
Be a little more observant, he’s dropping the mole plough into the dyke bank so water can run straight into the dyke itself!
So that he can drop the mole plough into the ditch for the moles to drain into 👍
? What benefits gained using a mole plough. Why so far apart.

Not all good George, you can go too fast with a Mole and it degrades its affectedness. Also with that Big Boy a shower of rain and its going no where.
Grunt.
No need ten years mole
Again George just dig down
Down have look see if got
Good hole in clay do grass
Back home before winter
Soil close back in before
Spring turn out grass grow quickly warm up
