The 225 is a great tractor, we run a couple of them. When your doing heavy tillage work you can put the transmission into a heavy tillage mode, by holding in the button on the back of your joystick and pressing the tortoise, a little tractor icon will appear in the bottom left of your screen, to get it back to normal mode you hold the button on the back and press the hare. It’s meant to be better for your transmission when you’re doing heavy tillage ie ploughing, cultivation.
Hi and good Evening George, Yes one more interesting video as you say she was grunting a bit but done it nicely, Thanks George take care of yourself, 🚜🚜⭐️👍👌
Thats some proper ground! We used to run exactly same flatlift without the roller on the fendt toolcarrier, it only had 115 horse but it could pull like hell and sounded the business with the front window open. The good old days 👍👍
Hallo george Nice Film from flatlift on the field. The New Holland t7 make a good Job the wheels have a little grip. In my area drived a ford 8830 maize a very good machine wih smoke and Sound
Great vid as usual! I think i may have commented about it on a previous video of yours, but the 'superglide' cab suspension kits for these T7's are an absolute game changer for comfort. My last 225 had it while my current 225 doesnt and i miss it every minute that I'm driving!
Good video George 👍 that Flatlift was just the job to give the 225 some decent work get her loosened up a bit 💪💪💪 hope nothing serious wrong with the FW 🤔👍👍
Hi George now the harvest is almost over and autumn is knocking on the door will there be any videos of the tracked tractor I’ve forgotten what it’s called 😂
Hello George that is some hard stuff and she is grunting well I’d think she was drinking some beer cause she looked to be pulling fairish ya need some tungsten carbide wings and shims keep up the good work and look forward to the next video 👍👍
i'm glad you explained the difference between a mole plough and a flat lift.........i thought they both did the same job that was why i said i've seen 3 legged mole ploughs........i thought they were the same thing.........every day's a school day. you could really see the flat lift doing it's job though by lifting the ground up ........help the drainage and let a bit of air into the soil
Cheers Gerald, there's quite a lot of similar looking machines that do different jobs and require different levels of effort to pull. The flat lift was doing a good job lifting the ground up👍
Brilliant video George and a great explanation of what and why you were doing. To be fair there were some excellent shots of the ground being lifted as well. So, what’s the problem with the FW? Do you think it could be the clutch not operating correctly? Not engaging?
many yrs ago my DAD HAD small A/C 272 BOUGHT IT FROM Oliver`s SHEFORD it was only a row crop Tractor but the wheels were water ballasted i found out when i altered the track wonder if that would be an option on the T225 or duels for better traction probably not as good as the D8 LOL
Nice vid sir... she's no TW but your right... its a nice place to be.. Question on your auto steer... Do you have your own base station repeater? Auto steer has always interested me and keeping my options open.. 😮😊.. stay safe 🏴
Certainly doesn't sound the same mate! No mate, got a subscription from rtk fnet, it uses a "virtual base station" and I've forgotten how it works but it works well, I don't think it matters where you are either it just moves the vbs 👍
Hi george great video , just when u were talking about the lack of boost did u ever leave the pto running to gain the boost for the hard work have done that on a john deere 6930 and it makes a massive difference 👍
Evening George, Interesting video as always, is that the same Flat Lift that you used on the NH T5 140 a couple of years ago ? The T7 has only got another 40 hp 🤔
Well I will tell you one thing George your 100% honest no doubt about it. At last you have a half decent tractor ready for some heavy work. Me being honest think you should get rid of the FW and the Fast track they have both done there work they want putting in retirement! Think you really miss the old beast the mighty TW.... Time to get a couple of big power houses around you.......... 👍👍👍💪💪💪💪💪
T7 2.45 lift arms won't lower to attach implement on 3 point hitch. The pick up hitch will drop the arms but when hitch is up and locked . You try to drop arms and will only go down a bit anyone have experience with new t7 nh Holland tractors

I didn't know that Nick, I'll give that a go, Cheers 👍
Hi and good Evening George, Yes one more interesting video as you say she was grunting a bit but done it nicely, Thanks George take care of yourself, 🚜🚜⭐️👍👌
Productivity is what it’s all about, doing the most you can for the least input!! Happy days, keep up the good work!
Thats some proper ground! We used to run exactly same flatlift without the roller on the fendt toolcarrier, it only had 115 horse but it could pull like hell and sounded the business with the front window open. The good old days 👍👍
Old school power👍
Hallo george Nice Film from flatlift on the field. The New Holland t7 make a good Job the wheels have a little grip. In my area drived a ford 8830 maize a very good machine wih smoke and Sound
Great video George flat lift makes 225 grunt a bit hope FW not to serious a problem.,🚜👍😊
Love the vids George👍 Nice to see the AutoSmart smellys flapping about I live in the village where there based in the old Reliant factory. 😉
Great video as usual George always good to see the New Holland you can't beat them keep them coming George
Cheers Keith 👍
Great vid as usual!

Mighty job George, have a good week 👌👍🙏😎
Great video George 👍👍👍🚜
I got mucker some new haribo sweets I will bring them up on Saturday morning👍👍
Love the video 🚜🚜👍👍
Evening George - looks like the 225 was definately getting it tight in places
Another great video George keep up with the great video 👍👍👍👍
Over 20 years ago since I flat lifted. Time flies 😮
The ol' Belarus DT75 I ought to try and get it going 👍
Howdy George and liz
Another great video has always George and liz 👍
Cheers Tony 👍
George the Auto Steer system is a great feature, people who wont use it do not know what they are missing.
Nice video George!! Some seriously tight ground there! I see the CHCNAV Autosteer working well 😉
Working a treat 👌👌👌
T7-225 doing what they were built to do 👍👍
Nice one George 😊
Hello George that is some hard stuff and she is grunting well I’d think she was drinking some beer cause she looked to be pulling fairish ya need some tungsten carbide wings and shims keep up the good work and look forward to the next video 👍👍
Great video with the 225 George. Are you going to.the national Ploughing Championships in Ireland next week . Well done George 👍 🔧 🚜
You know the saying! No smoke no poke well I think your old TW would have been smoking but man the sound would have been nice! Fenland Rob
She definitely would have been singing 👌
Great video my friend keep them coming 👍 😊
Nice comfy ride for the moleing
Hi George great video mate 👍
Thanks George great vid sir.... Take care...
Cheers Kev 👍
Great video George!
Cheers Charles 👍

There’s room for the old school and the new school mate 👍 the 225 would benefit from ALL its horses on that job, tidy work though
George did you ever think of buying a new tape measure 😂 love your videos never miss them keep them up
Can still just about read it😂
Nice video George
Nice video as always. 👍
That's interesting they brand it a 225 with boost different to deers who mark there's on the standard horsepower as you know.
Interestingly on the T7 HD's the number on the side is what it's putting out, no boost, just to make it more confusing!
Brilliant video George and a great explanation of what and why you were doing. To be fair there were some excellent shots of the ground being lifted as well. So, what’s the problem with the FW? Do you think it could be the clutch not operating correctly? Not engaging?
Hopefully the FW is feeling better soon.
That soil must be so hard we have a very similar ripper and our t5050 pulls it no sweet. It could probably pull 5 legs on a good day
Szuper 👍☺️😎🚜
Good vid as usual georgie boy......is that block of land owned or rented
you need the D8 on the flat lift George , looks dry, diesels need work
many yrs ago my DAD HAD small A/C 272 BOUGHT IT FROM Oliver`s SHEFORD it was only a row crop Tractor but the wheels were water ballasted i found out when i altered
the track wonder if that would be an option on the T225 or duels for better traction probably not as good as the D8 LOL
Boost should have a to use when need button for situations like that
Definitely be handy 👍
Nice vid sir... she's no TW but your right... its a nice place to be.. Question on your auto steer... Do you have your own base station repeater? Auto steer has always interested me and keeping my options open.. 😮😊.. stay safe 🏴

dont you wish you had the D8 on the flat lifter?
When you need 225hp you can't have it sir!! NH con men!!🙈👋
Those green fences are they deer proof ones or are they just expensive?
They are deer proof but not erected by us, the railway is just the other side of the hedge 👍
Hi george great video , just when u were talking about the lack of boost did u ever leave the pto running to gain the boost for the hard work have done that on a john deere 6930 and it makes a massive difference 👍
You can't trick it, because it knows there's no load on the PTO it says you can't have the power!
Evening George, Interesting video as always, is that the same Flat Lift that you used on the NH T5 140 a couple of years ago ? The T7 has only got another 40 hp 🤔
Puts things into perspective doesn't it😂
@GeorgeSaunders Totally, we've just bought a NH T5 140 Blue Power, early days but seems to be performing well 👍
@@peterobey491 is it a DC?
@GeorgeSaunders Yes, takes a bit of getting used to but once all set up works well 👍
Always used to think the "Finger Pad" for the gears / Hydraulics etc was a bit gimmicky, but now all set up to my personal taste use it all the time 😁
Did you drop the tyre pressure? Looked fairly hard when she was spinning !
No, been set at 9 and 10 pounds 👍
Can't you activate the PTO to have the boost at lower speeds? Works with the John Deere IPM atleast.
You can't fool it, it requires a load on the PTO to activate the boost 👍
You could have done with another 50 hp, the last tractor I drove in 1999 was a Massy 3680 with 180 hp😮
I've never seen a 3680 Jim, plenty of 2680's but never one of the big 3000 series 👍
Do you guys still setup Draft Control to avoid or limit wheel spin ??
Well I will tell you one thing George your 100% honest no doubt about it. At last you have a half decent tractor ready for some heavy work. Me being honest think you should get rid of the FW and the Fast track they have both done there work they want putting in retirement! Think you really miss the old beast the mighty TW.... But the FW has twice the horsepower of the tw, i loved the ol' tw but I don't regret replacing it with the FW 💪
hi George popped up on an email New Holland T9050 FOR SALE i bet that should be the one to view on your channel with the flat-lift
T7 2.45 lift arms won't lower to attach implement on 3 point hitch. The pick up hitch will drop the arms but when hitch is up and locked . You try to drop arms and will only go down a bit anyone have experience with new t7 nh Holland tractors
You can have all the hp in the world but you can’t put it to the ground it’s useless…. Fill them tires up with water.
You call it flatlifting the Americans call it ripping, same thing different name.
No, different operations.
Ripping is deep cultivation, flat lifting slices, lifts, breaks and drops back in place.
