Muito obrigado! Para quem não conseguiu, tente lembrar em qual partição vc instalou o sistema operacional. No caso do vídeo estava instalado em (hd0, msdos1). O comando ls inicial serve para listar as partições e te auxilia a descobrir onde está instalado o sistema operacional. Tbm vale ficar atento onde tiver que preencher sda1. Vc terá que substituir pelo sd da partição que está instalado o sistema operacional. Como exemplo, o meu sistema estava instalado em (hd1, gtp6). Eu substituí (hd0, msdos1) por (hd1, gtp6). Depois quando aparece o sda1 eu substituí o sda1 por sda6 (o 6 vem do gtp6). Faça a substituição adequada para o seu caso.
Oh my god.. thank you so much for posting this, Depri!!! My init file was somehow removed or corrupted, so I started up linux via USB (the Try Ubuntu option) and then typed " sudo apt-get install init " into the command prompt. Worked like a charm.

@@user-so3tm4iy7y you can check one by one, use `ls (hd1,gpt4)/`. boot/root disk usually have folder like 'var', 'home', etc. please notice `/` after disk partition.

Before make pen as bootable pen, format your pen as FAT32. That solved my issue
