I am planning a vacation to visit Singapore. It’s 20 hours flight from US so I want to make it worth it. I am trying to find the tastiest SG food. What do you think about this Hokkien Mee? Whats your favorite Singapore food?

Serangoon Garden Chomp Chomp used to have good charcoal Hokkien Mee . But now I will only go to the nearby Market Hawker , to eat Hokkien Mee . Because that area have parking lots for cars n motorbikes .
I often wonder, when was the moment that a hawker first thought to grab a plate and use it as a a tool to toss the contents of a big wok full of noodles in counterpoint to the standard steel wok spatula? No doubt it was a practice that caught on like fire. Just so obvious if you think about it. But there is always a first. The point of inspiration if you like. Is that precious moment recorded?
They still do tho...try exploring Chinatown claypot rice....food cooked over charcoal r much more delicious cos it's similar to slow cooking, I had tried Malay curry cooked over charcoal....meat jus disintegrated in your mouth🤤 like melt in your mouth....🤤😋you shud try it....

Monkey see, monkey do. These could have used two spatulas like some experienced chefs do.
Is it nice?
Melamine CKT🎉
The sprouts should be put in last. It looks overcooked sprouts.
So so when the father is still around before moving further down the road how good can it be individual taste No One Taste fits all LOL
Standard has gone down since the old man passed away. Not worth making a special trip to Siglap/East Coast for it.
does not look like local stall! NEA do not allow charcoal as source of fire
