Is it possible to carry a baby on the seat without the plastic inside?

Yes! You do not need the plastic seat inside unless you are using it as a hip seat.

After a year do u think this seat carrier worth it? And comfortable

I actually wore it quite a bit while pregnant and found it was one of the best options for me in the first and second trimester. I have since used it a handful of times with my now 5 month old baby. I think it's a very good option, depending on what you want in your carrier. There are so many great options in general, it just depends on what you want!
