Have you considered bringing some sawdust in a Tupperware container for your poo bucket? It helps cover and absorb some of the odors if you sprinkle some on your no.2. I have a composter toilet and that’s what I use. Never have been out to the playa though, just throwing ideas out there.

I realize the whole point is human interactions but I’m a light sleeper with all the energy, so is there a way to get one’s camp far enough away to keep some of the sound down a bit? I don’t mind riding a bike a mile if it means rest lol. I went to a regional burn once and after about 3 days with no sleep I about went mental

That’s a good idea and I actually did bring kitty litter but believe it or not we never ended up using it and we didn’t have too much poop to pack out luckily one of my best friends camped with us and he let us use the toilet in his RV

You simply need to have 2 paper bags that you can get from Publix and then you need to have sand and brown that you placed on the bottom then you poop on to the brown then you’re covered with sand or sawdust repeat you can get four poops then we can do is dig a hole and bury the bag and you just added nutrients to the desert but a tree on top of it maybe it will grow
In 2021 we tried to have our own Burning Man.. the BLM made special rules for those few weeks that made it difficult. One rule was we couldn’t book lots of porta potties…

You should bring clay kitty litter and cover each poop until the bag is sufficiently more full. One bag per poop is not very earth friendly.
