His blue roan color is beautiful with the purple saddle!!! So adorable how he is so gentle with you and the baby. I believe that animals definitely know when someone is pregnant. Horses can actually hear a person’s heart beat when they are approximately 4 ft away from you. I’m sure he hears not only yours but the baby’s heart beat also. 🥰
Rudnik one hundred thousand percent knows that someone VERY special is going to join his herd it truly boggles my mind how sentient & in in tune with us our animals are I literally can NOT wait to see his response when his bestie is finally here,he’s going to teach him so much. Omg what ?!! That tiny saddle has GOT to be the most adorable thing I’ve seen in a really long time 😭this was such a sweet thoughtful gift from the farrier!! Little Cowboy doesn’t know it yet but he’s already so loved & I mean come on he’s gonna be the most stylish little guy in Canada with that tack. I know you had concerns about his new location when you guys moved, but Rudnik being the kind, gentle soul he is has exceeded any expectations. That saddle is so adorable!! ❤❤

He also smells the pregnancy, people may not smell that much different than horses when they are pregnant so I imagine he's figured it out. Cute saddle! You have plenty of time to clean it up and condition that leather. Nice of the farrier to do that.💝💥
I agree 100% - they definitely know! It is synthetic which is great because it means it’s a bit more flexible to fit Rudnik and it’ll be light and easy to manage - perfect first saddle for the little cowboy!
Well, Rudnik certainly knows that your visits are harder on you., so he appreciates them more (my humble opinion). That little saddle most have cost a bundle, and yes, it's very suitable and cute for a newbie cowboy. I hope you're doing ok. Just do R&R now. We can wait for more vids after you have your baby.
Oh he won’t last long in it but I’m sure by the time he grows out of it we’ll have a good idea if he wants to be involved in that lifestyle and invest in a bigger one if so 😊
Scent is so important to a horse and our animals can smell the baby. I think it's funny because pregnant mares would be as violent as ever and I doubt they'd let their stallion softly sniff their stomachs but I guess they still know humans are extra fragile with a baby on board. I've heard of cats making a nest for when their human gives birth, not quite understanding that she's not going to get 50 kittens, haha It must just all smell the same to them.
