As a fan of the video game franchise of the same name, I keep thinking of a movie of that, instead. Canonically, Galaxy Federation ships like the Styx and Rynex need two people to fly them, a pilot and WSO, and they need to be very closely bonded to fly such a fighter properly. So what if the plot is two average pilots who are really close friends are called up because they have that X factor at their disposal, and have to do a lot of growing up in a very short time because of the immense responsibility and firepower in their hands?
Man... If a shitty movie makes someone else think of a better movie idea based on a old school video game way better than fucking Hollywood and the insufferable crowd it's been sleeping with, you *REALLY* know they done fucked it up.

My brother-in-law put this on, and changed it to something else before McCarthy got her powers 🤣
Alex looks like he is having PTSD here and there while Joe and OJ talk.
... that's how he always looks, tbf
5:00-5:20 just look at alex, he was dying inside 😂
He always looks annoyed when oj talks
@@dalehollingsworth6704 trust! Why?!
I find this angryjoe review way more entertaining then the movie.
That is the truthest of every truth.
I didn't to be honest.😕
thats a disrespect
Godzilla is approaching the generator, the generator is loosing power!!!!!
that is timeless haha
He's a man not a god, come on comrades!
IS THAT FUCKING BLUE?!
That's what she said
"loosing power"....
losing* The word "loose" is the opposite of the word "tight". The words "lose/losing" are the opposite of the words "win/gaining"

Slipknot sucks so no surprise there
This is why we have these guys and other youtubers, so we don't have to suffer.
When Joe mentioned to get a different writer, I was curious and checked IMDb. The director, Ben Falcone, wrote it himself. There are no words to describe how quickly my brain quivered and turned to goo.
Your brain has turned to ground beef. BEEF BRAIIIIN
I'm a simple man I see Melissa McCartney i don't touch it with a stick.
I thought she did a good job in St. Vincent.

Naah, I'm just joking. Personally, I don't like her at all so I haven't seen that.
@@rodrigocaceres2879 Even if you weren't joking, most of my opinions are objectively wrong anyway. For example, I think K-PAX was decent.

Bridesmaids was good but everything else you're an idiot i f you waste time and or $ on her movies

Ouch 🤕
Calories, not carbs.
@@Left4Candy whatever makes you fat as a sun.
Lol
If you look closely you can see a bit of Alex's soul leave his body while AJ was doing the Urkel bit. I have not and will not watch this movie but I did see that scene when Double Toasted reviewed it and I don't blame Alex's soul for leaving.
😂😂 I saw him rethink his entire life leading up to that point.
AJ : "Ok, I'mma give the film this: I think there's two funny jokes in there."
Alex: *Squint to doubt*
Netflix has brought cinema quality down. It’s killed the focus on making art. They take anyone who is famous and churn out shite like this
It's like they put a premise into an AI script generator with different genres and just roll with it
When the "superhero" could be beaten by running for a mile so she gets a heart attack chasing you...
you know its gonna be bad BAD when OJ doesn't even enjoy it as a "so bad it's good" kind of film
So basically, this movie is the embodiment of the phrase "I've fallen and I can't get up", as well the dethklok song "thunderhorse" if it were trying to being dead serious.
Every day I die over and over again.
Corey Taylor's involvement in this shows that the dude is chasing paychecks, and doesn't care about his art anymore.
I thought he couldn't sink lower after his envolvement with the wall review
It sucks because I really like Taylor but seeing him sink so low hurts.
your profile photo is scary
I find it pretty funny considering he constantly shits on newer bands, calls them generic, then does stuff like this
@@Windwalker88 i’m like 40% sure he was in that review for his son anyway.

Alex keep preaching the truth: they are going to stop making garbage movies until we stop watching them
I honestly liked The Heat, but only because it was a goofy buddy cop, there are not many female buddy cop movies, and because she played a genuine hardass in my opinion.
Joe just set himself up to be a meme doing the "Did I do thaaaat" dance there.
The urkel scene was the moment i was done with this movie.
Really? idk, i saw worst. Very Disney Afternoon Movie-Vibe
The first few seconds of the trailer was when I was done.
Damn he just keeps going "Did I do that?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This movie popped up when opened Netflix and saw Melissa McCarthy in the trailer and was instantly like “nah”
To be fair "the King" is the greatest Name for a Villain
@@DasKame that villain was the only character with even the slightest hint of being interesting
@@barrybarry8564 The Name was great, the Movie was way more like for Kids imo

Since Netflix was recommending like crazy for me, I went to watch it yesterday, I thought it might become better, but eventually just turned it off. Instead I just decided to do something more productive, I went to bed.
I personally can’t stand Imagine Dragons. My wife and kid love em, seems like everyone else does too. Aside from this song, Corey Taylor and all he does with Slipknot and Stone Sour, he’s an incredibly talented dude
6:52 OJ just hiding the fact he watched Jack and Jill😂😂😂
Dude watches bad films on purpose doesn't surprise me he did.
Watching Alex listen to angry Joe speak the lyrics of that god awful abomination of a song was absolutely priceless!
Not to talk bad about Female actors in general, because there are PLENTY of EXTREMELY GOOD female actors especially in a lot of the big budget action movies. BUT whenever I see a movie like this one that pushing the fact that it has an entire cast of female "comedians", I IMMEDIATELY steer WAY clear of it as I immediately KNOW it will be nothing but unfunny, unenjoyable, PURE WOKE GARBAGE!!!!
If I can make a suggestion do reviews on the DC animated films! They deserve to be recognized more.
Ohhh great superman moments right there
Alex: _"This is your fault."_
Angry Joe: _"Screw you for making me watch this."_
Nice review right there. Thank you Other Joe for making them suffer hahahahhaha!!
"There are things that are clearly worse than this. You've made me watch them." I'm dying
lmao, the first 7 minutes is alex and aj dumping on oj's movie choices.
The differences between Jason and Melissa doing the same character are that it still works for him (probably because his isn't an overbearing character) and he actually branches out more often.
There's always an appreciation for a guy who can pepper in a good joke-but there's never a need for an over the top person desperately trying for laughs.
He can play dark characters in The Gift and probably Ozark.
Jason Bateman was the best part of this movie, hands down!
that golden girls shirt is so good
“Couldn’t get in the Lamborghini because of their costume.” Uh... think wider.
I think he knows but was trying to be nice.
Are we sure it’s not called Thunder Thighs? 🤣
😆
I didn’t even bother watching the damn thing cuz once I saw Melissa McCarthy I was like “nah this gunna be some cringe kicking & screaming feminism bullshit”
Sadly I couldn’t sleep the other night and decided to watch this...
Seriously sometimes I feel like directors who make these types of films think the audience is legitimately stupid.
