Man my heart hurts to see Johnny like this. He’s obviously hurting/struggling. He’s put on a lot of weight since last on tour, the entire set he seems depressed, and gassed out to where he just doesn’t seem into it. Hopefully it’s just because it’s the start of touring again after such a long break, but the toll that touring constantly, being away from home and the drug use puts on these guys is a lot more than most people could ever handle. Lot’s of love and respect for the HS crew. Wish them the best and most importantly happiness they deserve
He seems fine to me. People who get OFF the drugs gain weight, so that's not a bad thing. and HS has a lot of emotional songs. Vocals are a tough thing, he's never going to sound like the album. Belting out a lot of these songs one after another is taxing on your voice.
How bout not talking bout dudes weight when I seen him at chameleon he was def worse of mentally I’d imagine he was a lot more frail and his voice is hard to replicate live repeatedly
For real. Compared to most bands good voice live is actually close to their albums. Skinny isn't always healthy. You can have some meat on your bones and be damn fine like Johnny too!
@@erose99 you have a point about people gaining weight when they get off drugs...this is typically true. HOWEVER, FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, FENTANYL CAUSES EXTREME WEIGHT GAIN. It makes you retain water and causes you to bloat especially your feet, ankles and lower legs. Most addicts I know are fooling their loved ones into thinking they are sober bc of the weight gain knowing that most people have no idea that it is a sign/symptom/side effect of prolonged fentanyl use. As for his performance... I just saw him in Arizona @ UFEST. He was still amazing, but I'd have to agree with the comment above... he didn't seem like he was happy or really wanted to be there. You could tell something was different...idk how people can say " he's not ganna sound like he does on the album" ummmm..... WRONG! have you not seen him perform live before?! He sounds and plays just like the album! ( not to say that artist don't have off days ) but if you look at the whole picture there are some RED FLAGS & WARNING SIGNS that something is different. Now I'm not making accusations or saying he is doing it forsure. I sincerely hope not! Unfortunately, my gut says it's highly possible that he's battling with fentanyl. People would be absolutely shocked if they really knew how many people are actually using this drug. It's literally everywhere. We need to talk about it and educate as many people as we can. I successfully detoxed from it myself and want to help whoever I can get there too.
