VG30DE Engine Teardown - Nissan 300ZX / Infiniti J30 / Z32 / Y32 - Part 1

In this video I start the process of disassembling my old VG30DE Engine that had rod knock on cylinder #5. to show what its put together.
Items removed:
PTU
air regulator
IACV (idle air control valve)
Spark plug tubes
Upper Plenum
Fuel injector rail
coolant pipes
front timing covers
Tools used:
8 mm socket
10 mm socket
12 mm socket
ratchet

I might be interested in the j30 timing belt cover no PTU one, do you have a link to your eBay store?

Yes, its going to be turbo time soon!!! It just needs to get to spring, and get the old car on a dyno first to see what the old NA VG30DE makes before i swap it.
