- Time to recap our budget for the first paycheck in June! And I reached an exciting milestone - the completion of my first savings goal. Now what? It's a little hard to shift my mindset to other goals, but I'm going to try to talk myself through it. Personal finance is PERSONAL, and everyone has to find their own way.

Hi Ruth! I totally agree with you about sinking funds! This is the first year I've saved and used them, and even though they aren't big yet- it is something- and that something is a gamechanger! Love LotR- so cool to see the trilogy on the big screen with your son! My son would love that! Have a great weekend!💛
This is my second year of having sinking funds to pay annual memberships and car registration - with absolutely no squeeze, either when I set the money aside all year, nor when I have to pay up. It's amazing! I've always known it was POSSIBLE, I just never actually made the attempt to DO IT. And it feels great!
Are you finally out of school yet? I really want to hear about your knee surgery. Mine are in such bad shape. I hope your recovery is swift and your mobility is renewed!
