Couple of things, First of all looks awesome. I’m also working in my garage. I’m going with the Gladiator Cabinets and shelf’s. Also getting the floor done on April 10 of 2023. Projects are awesome and you learn a lot along the way. Good luck with everything. I def subscribed. Looking forward to more videos
couple things: 1. you did an amazing job with the job Reno. Epoxy flooring looks great and the lighting in there is spot on. 2. Awesome job with the cabinets. I am getting this same system and your video will 100% makes it easier for me to install. 3. Great job on your first you tube channel posting. The "pro tip" hints are always helpful for people that haven't done the project before. LASTLY...doing this with your wife and having fun in the process is key...bring that upbeat energy to the page and you will no doubt gain a bunch of viewers for sure. Again, hats off to the both of you and good luck on your channel. I've subscribed and am looking forward to future videos.
To be honest was not my choice, it was already built when I bought the property. I do agree however it is helpful for water. Thanks for the support and comment!
I'm waiting on mine to come and have the same cinder block issue. Glad to see the legs can be taken off(or not put on). I was thinking of just using a painted 2x6 along the bottoms so it really looks built in. Great video, lots of stuff to get me ready for mine👍👍
sweet, i like the idea of blocks under the legs... i had the same issue. and the stickers have left permanent residue on one of my cabinets. i just got done with mine. I got 3 sets of cabinets.
I put the upper cabinets in by myself. The locker doors are removable, so it's easy to reach inside to hold bolt as you tighten. Seventy one year-old lady...if I can install this, anyone can.
I have the same problem at the base wherein the concrete is protruding. Thank you for giving me an idea of how to solve it. My only problem now is the middle drawers because you can't really push it against the wall do I don't know what to do with the backsplash. Do you have an idea
Hello, the way I have it I would be able to put backsplash on the way it is but if you need to extend it out just mount a few blocks of 2x6 behind it till you reach desired level? Hard to say without seeing it.
Thanks for sharing. Since you didn’t mount the desk or drawers cabinet above the cinder block did it stick out beyond the cabinet? I don’t see a gap from the table top to the back wall.
Hi Chris. Great video and my cabinets is on the way , exciting! I have the same issue with the foundation over hang and mines about 3.5 inches sticking out from the dry wall but may be a little higher. My question is since the depth of the 2 high cabinets are 18 inch depth. And the 3 middles drawer cabinets are 18inchs depth. Can you notice a big difference with the over hang since the 3 cabinets are not flush with the wall? Thanks
Do you even need the feet in the front or just added peace of mind? If the majority of the weight is supported on the cinder blocks with some forces on the wall seems like that alone is superior to standard wall mount and would be sufficient, no?
@@BOO5Tchannel thanks makes sense. I went with the Pros and have a similar cinder block ledge so trying to figure out what I want to do. Thanks for making this video!
Hello, I did both. If you are standing them on the floor and bolt them together you may be fine but you might also get some movement out of them. Might work not 100% sure but for safety I would do a few stud screws...
How do you like the quality of the bold series? I just ordered the Pro bc I was worried the bold quality may be too cheap. Any feedback would be appreciated.
@@audiaudiss4 Hello, we ended up going with the base coat of polyurea (much harder than epoxy) then the color called Marble which they saturated, scraped, vacuumed, and then applied the top layer also polyurea.
Your wife inside the cabinet was priceless...nice video
Thank you!
I wanted to comment because your setup onto cinder blocks is what I need to do onto my house. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks glad it helped you bro!

Thank you for the kind words, glad to have you aboard and thank you for the support! Greatly appreciated.
Lookin good bro. It’s awesome that you work with your wife on projects. Kudos. Keep up the good work and I look forward to more helpful videos. L8r
Thank you, we appreciate your support!
What a cute couple! My husband and I are about to follow your lead. Love the cabinets . thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Hope you guys have fun on the install I know we did 🤣
Good review and timely, I'm ordering a set of these in a few days, thanks.
Thank you!
I like the idea of cinder blocks on the bottom. Keeps moisture away from the drywall when washing down the floor.
To be honest was not my choice, it was already built when I bought the property. I do agree however it is helpful for water. Thanks for the support and comment!
Excellent video. I know making a video takes a long time, probably longer than it took you to assemble and install the cabinets. Much appreciated!
Thank you, and you are correct!
Great job!
Thank you
I liked how your cute wife said “That’s what she said”. 😅
Great video, love the cabinets!
Thank you, I appreciate it

Glad to hear the video helped and good luck with the install, overall it’s fairly easy with the cabinets being 90% complete. Thanks for watching
Your wife looks about as thrilled as mine would be to help me with a project like this. LOL!
Lol yea she’s a trooper
helped me understand my 12 piece, thanks..

Thanks for watching, try goo gone for the residue followed by some alcohol to clean up the goo gone lol
Chris Ciuc I shall try! Thanks for the pro tip.
Thank you, good video! We are thinking of buying New Age Garage cabinets. We just ordered Race Deck flooring and cabinets are the next order.
We love the cabinets and they are tough and sturdy. Highly recommend the purchase. Thank you for watching!
Nice!
Thank you!
I put the upper cabinets in by myself. The locker doors are removable, so it's easy to reach inside to hold bolt as you tighten. Seventy one year-old lady...if I can install this, anyone can.
Also, the small cabinet doors are removable.
Nice! I hope at 71 I am as handy as you 😉
Wish NewAge would make the large 48” in the pro series. Only the Bold so far. Garage is coming along. Great space.
Thank you!

It’s a bit out but no issue for me, it’s about 2-3 inches off the wall
How does the shelves fit inside the big locker cabinets ? With screws?
No they have like a insert that locks inside cabinet in about 6 positions
I don't know about stickers, for me the hardest part was shelves. They get stuck out of alignment while you trying to put them in.
Ya I found pushing in one side a bit from the outside helps out a lot to get them to fit into place fast!
Maybe I missed it in the video, but are the anchoring holes predrilled in the cabinets?
Yes they are!
@@BOO5Tchannel Sweet - thanks man. Looking to buy soon, but every single solitary set is out of stock on the New Age website.
How much was the whole system? Cool video! cool couple!
Hey thanks, I think I spent like $2400 it’s been a while will try to find receipt
@@BOO5Tchannel Thank you!

To be honest I don’t ever notice a difference anymore so I think you will be happy overall
@@BOO5Tchannel I was thinking the same. Thank you Chris. Take care.

Not for my needs there is lots of support to the back half but the front would be weak and this is not heavy metal so yes needs front legs 100%
@@BOO5Tchannel thanks makes sense. I went with the Pros and have a similar cinder block ledge so trying to figure out what I want to do. Thanks for making this video!
@@maz_uwu thanks!
Is there a reason you did not mount the cabinets with a slat wall so you could remove the feet?
No reason I just chose this method because it worked for me and is still working
How does the table stay secured? like when you are working on it. Will it slide around? You didn't show the table installation. Liked the video.:)
The table wheels lock so no movement install is casters only rest is assembled
@@BOO5Tchannel you lost me.
@@thegolfbro you mean table top? That get screwed on from bottom up with 4 screws, very easy
Do you have yo fix the wall cabinets to studs or they can hold themselves together with the bolts on each sides
Hello, I did both. If you are standing them on the floor and bolt them together you may be fine but you might also get some movement out of them. Might work not 100% sure but for safety I would do a few stud screws...
If you ask this type of question you should hire a professional
Are they Stout though? Built sturdy? Thx
I think they are very stout and sturdy, I will do a full review in a week or so. I love them so far
Did it come with the extended leg or u had to buy them separately
The wood I made the legs do extend to adjust however so they did come like that
How do you like the quality of the bold series? I just ordered the Pro bc I was worried the bold quality may be too cheap. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Just purchased the Bold 3.0 series. Very satisfied with the quality and function. Would recommend to a friend.
How long did it take?
A few hours
Love the floors! Did u do them yourself or professionally done?
Thank you! The floors I had done professionally.

Hey Chris, can you come over and install my New Age cabinets too? Bring your tools to Toronto, Canada :-) Nice video. Cheers.
On my way. Lol you got this it’s a very nice system easy to install. You Canadian’s are very sharp! Thank you for watching
