- This key can put the elevator into independent service, turn off the elevator lights, access locked floors and in this case, turn the elevator off.
I am demonstrating this on a Liftec elevator (originally Kone) with Dewhurst fixtures. If you want me to try this on any other elevator, please leave a comment below!
Unlabeled key switches are always an awesome addition to a functioning elevator that is open to the public. It is even more convenient for Service personnel. I see a flaw in what is apparently ok there. Sounds like rollers need replacement or the rail oilers are dry. What kind of elevator is it then?
The lift doesnt shut up
Is there a way to turn the annoying service announcement off?
Is there any way I can get my hands on one of these? I want to turn off my elevator lights at my dorm, no reason I just want to.
The majority of elevators which use this key have Dewhurst fixtures, so it may be harder to find one, but I will definitely try!
Good video - wanna know why the doors are moving like that? That's caused by either a loose clutch pickup assembly on the shaft doors, or a loose clutch assembly on the lift doors, and the retention cord pulling the shaft doors closed. mrmattandmrchay and ElevAider could provide some more information here
That's one of the problems with this key - it basically only works on generics (with Dewhurst fixtures) and many of these generics have very similar controllers (if not the same!) which decide it would be a good idea to constantly remind the elevator attendant that the elevator is "Under Service Control"!
I think they should bring Innovation Bruiser buttons over to the UK!
Where do you get the key from I so want one
The voice saying,"This lift is under service control," is annoying! :( Still, great vid :)
Where can i buy this key ?
dorothy jesus if it’s not your elevator, or your granted access to the key by the elevator owner you can not use it
you can buy those on ebay
Raul Real the keys aren’t illegal the way that people use them is you can own elevator keys and use them with permission

@@SeptrothFFXI Firstly, it's a lift you dumbass, secondry if chavs can go piss in the "owners" lift then we can certainly use our keys since it'll probably do less damage to the lift.
Does that key have a model number on it?
its 827
From a good friend of mine :)

Go to New Orleans riverside and go on the scenic elevator (Middle One)
Too bad he's in the UK and couldn't do that easily.
Lift 🛗
A good friend of mine gave it to me, who got it off an engineer
It is considered tampering to use an elevator key in a elevator without permission.
I am sure he used it when no one was there. There are dead times.
this is not the US.
@@Trizo ikr.
Cry about it
Is the us it is. This is not the us. Oh and mind your own business
No emergency light
