It grew a lot I never cut my hair for a year or reapplied it . It’s like it became my normal hair after 3 months because after the first month my hair felt like hay and was really dry. But I cut my hair in April like bald . Because you know African parents 🙄 I regretted it so much but now my hair grew again and it’s not going to grow much again after this length u think I can do it again? Because the first time I did it I just did it but i hear some people say it’ll damage your hair like what?? It didn’t for me. My hair is really tight and want it to grow !
susannoo__ Yes you can do it again! It will be the same way it’ll be way easier and stretch out nice for you! People only say it damages because they didn’t take care of it right or they don’t really know lol our hair is more kinky so it doesn’t do damage like people may think
I recently did a big chop and I like it! BUT i wanted to try a texturizer. your hair is a little shorter than mine so this gave me a really good example. ik this is an old vide but it Looks great btw!
Yolanda Salone I do use a leave in conditioner after I wash my hair like just for me or the Cantu for kids, I don’t use gel at all when my hair is wet and washed I just condition and then use the leave in and after it drys I use oil like a little coconut or extra virgin olive oil

I use the texturizer first then use the shampoo and conditioner that’s in the box, I don’t really wash my hair before unless it has like a few products in it or it’s really dirty. If I do wash it first I wait until the next day.🙌🏽

Do you have to re apply everytime you get a haircut ? & when your new growth comes in is it a dramatic difference between the texturized hair & the new growth?
Not necessarily every time I get a haircut the s curl is still there depending on how low I cut it. When i let my new growth grow long enough it is a dramatic difference!
Al Hankford No it won’t! Just make sure not to leave it in too long and depending on your texture you’ll just loosen what is already s curled more but it should turn out nicely

I’m gonna cut my hair short for finger waves but I’m gonna texturize it because my hair is SUPER thick. Would using an S curl texturizer help?
